@JayComedy350 I heard they are. It's called the dead-zone which is the zone the stick has to be pushed out of before it responds (someone correct me if I'm wrong). The dead zone of the PS3 is smaller and therefore more responsive. However, that also means that the slightest wrong nudge can cause it to move so be careful. But once you get used to it I guess it's not that big of a deal.

Good controller. It feels really good in the hands, the triggers are curved and easy to press, and all the buttons are very responsive. The only bad thing is that the analog sticks have a pretty big dead zone which makes it terrible for first person shooters.

@d3adm4nwalking If you play MAINLY first person shooters, then I personally would not be able to get used to it. This controller has a bigger dead zone than most other third party controllers. It's really a shame because this is probably the best feeling controller I ever had.

I just got this today and it works great it's just that when I am playing all of the lights around the hone button are solid and not just the player light that represents what player you are. Does anyone know how to fix this?

As a Ps3 owner I also like X Box 360's gamepad design but trying to make X-Box 360's game pad work on Ps3 is very troublesome and as you showed that it was very expensive too. Also, wired Xbox' 360 Gamepad Doesn't support Sixaxis and Rumble features. So, Power A is nice alternative for us. I've bought mine from Shopto.net and very happy with it.

I got this controller a little over a week ago and if your trying to play fighter games (Marvel vs Capcom 3) it absolutely sucks at that. The d pad works well enough for shooting games, but quarter rolls and stuff just don't register properly.

@MobileWawZombies its excellent for all CoD and FPS, the controller has no connectivity uses. the battery lasts longer than DS3 and I find when you adjust the sensitivity its far more responsive than the DS2 too. Best PS3 controller out there bar none!

I bought this controller yesterday i must say that it feels exactly like a xbox 360 controller, if you're a sniper i recommend this to everyone out there, it works like a beauty, but! i must say it, it has dead zones which makes you not aim as good..

The main thing i want to find out is how are the L1 and R1 buttons? are they harder to press in and are they smooth when u click them or clunky? i play battlefield mostly and i have to use R1 to shoot it would be a pain in the ass if R1 is like pressing a power button on a tv im only gona buy it if it's flush like a ps3 or 360 controller

nothing is suppose to happen when your at the home screen and press the home button, right? Because the home button brings you to the xmb (no duh) so if your already on the xmb, then home button is canceled out except for when you hold it to power down the controller/ps3.

the sensitivity on the sticks is not as good as the DS3 but overall its very good. I'm playing GT5 with this and the rumble is insane compared to the DS3 weak ass rumble. Good controller to get right now, its only $30 at walmart last time I checked.

This controller is good overall but if you're buying it for just shooters then you're going to be a little disappointed because the long range kills won't happen as often as with the dualshock 3. because of the sensetivity issues, all shooters feel a bit like killzone 2

how is the tension of the triggers compared to the xbox360? I'm thinkin of getting a Power A for GranTurismo5 and using the triggers as the brake/acceleration and i really prefer the x360 triggers for racing games.

Can you upload a video of you in a private match demonstrating the controller? Just showing the response from your actions to what happens in game. Because I heard the other controller (Raven) dropped the signal if you weren't sitting up close on the system.

I got the wired version of the controller at walmart for 20 bucks. So far, its probably the best controller for the system. Everything feels comfortable and durable. It doesn't feel cheaply put together. The analog sticks are BETTER than the 360's. The d pad is kind of worse than the ps3's default, but its usable.

All in all, its a great controller and a cheap one as well. Get it =p

Alright guys I have had this controller about five hours now. The upper left thumbstick sticks for me really bad this a product problem not all are like it. Trust me it takes a long time to get used to it if you only use ps3 controller it is a HUGE change. I played with it about five hours and am still not used to it yet. the first XCM adapter does work for the slim thats what im using, look at my channel i made a video reviewing it for my ps3 slim. only things thats sucks is its wired..........but it works and it works better than dualshock controller

From that video your home button is working fine, the reason why you aren't seeing the XMB screen come up and instead the battery level is because you were already on the XMB screen. What you were trying to show us was the in game XMB and obviously you have to be in game to see it.

i liked this vid. i just got my pro elite about 2 days ago. its a great controller for people who are switching from the 360 to the ps3 side. those who arent ready to let go of th360s great design lol. its a geat design, its a mixture of 360 and ps3. its pretty big in my opinion. slightly bigger then the 360. its also not as good as a 360 controller or regular ps3 controller for fps games like mw2. but its great for fighting games. but i got it 2 days ago so im gnna practice more with it for mw2

Yes, it is the closest thing to the Conrtoller S. Everything is so accuratly modelled that you will instantly feel confortable.
