  • lol the boys voices remind me of shmorky

  • The scene when tonga tells what happned to her family is sad.It makes me think how whales are suffering to this day.We should be glad that greenpeace and the sea shepard conversation society are fighting to protect them.

  • i am proud to have fought for them and we won our war but soon they'll return

  • so 70's

  • for a kids show, these movies were depressing,

  • 0:40 Listen to the sound without the video. OMG so wrong and so funny! :D

  • if tonga is a sperm whale or pilot whale then why does she flashback to humpback whales?

  • @Superpepsiman20 probably just easier to draw and animate. i dunno

  • thank you so much for this...

  • OMG when Tonga first speaks,..I get tears. This is such a great movie. Thanks for the upload:D

  • OMG. TOTALLY THROW BACK!

I watched this as a little, little kid. Thanks for the memories!

  • though this was made before i was born, i grew up with this <3 and the song Mother Sea is so beautiful and so haunting. i love it!

  • *Charlie grabs a bucket*

    "Over there!"

    "C'mon, Charlie!"

    "Over here, stupid!"

    "What are you doing?!"

    "No, this way!"

Charlie: "WAAAH!!!" *puts bucket over head*

    LOL XD

  • kids wouldnt know, its just another animated film, just like any other shen

  • suicidal whale...there's nothing more tragic lol.

but yeah this was a childhood favourite. i always wished i could talk to the animals and go on adventures with them.

  • Tonga's mother and father were humpback whales?

I don't know what Tonga's species is; but it certainly isn't humpback.

  • @shenloken2 probably because humpback whales are easier to film.

  • i love dot i used to watch her all the time whn i was little. i used to watch the hell out of this one.

  • 2:50 So beautiful!

  • Horrible sound. It was quieter on here than it was in part 1.

  • What's the song called at: 03:00? Please someone answer me! :)

  • It's called Mother Sea it's a very beautiful song

  • "Mother Sea"

    Music by Bob Young

    Lyrics by John Palmer

Performed by Kim Deacon, Robyn Moore and Keith Scott

  • I cant hear it, the audio is dead

  • Um... What's with the sound... Not to complain, but I do love this movie and would adore hearing it.

  • (Dot) Milton told me (boy) Milton he a Jallyfish

(Dot) No he a Dophin (boy) a Dophin ?

  • It's a beutiful movie! But I can't seem to understand why I can hardly hear anything.

  • I used to watch this over and over and over when I was 3 years old- I absolutely loved it

  • A whale calf loses the will to live and attempts suicide by beaching herself (like how the orca committed suicide by depriving itself of oxygen in the 1977 film "Orca"), pretty powerful for a children's feature.

CONTINUITY ERROR: The live-action footage depicts Tonga as a humpback calf, but in animation doesn't resemble one, looking more along the lines of the sperm variety.

  • very true, that has confused me, because I ordered the movie a few months ago and when I saw the live whales and tonga, I realize the live whales were humpback whales and the tonga the animated whale is a sperm whale.

  • 5:19, i think that boy likes dot ^.^
