  • Yup, the quality is bad. I was trying to figure out the effects. Your song is good, and your really good at tracking. I haven't gotten this good at using samples because I use mostly VST's. The only thing I don't like is that it's painfully centered. Some stereo separation would be good.

  • Sounds like the main menu music from Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles

  • Can you put up a download link to this song?

  • @djtechno95 I'll think about uploading it, just don't think my host can support any more bandwidth use.

  • How long does it take to make a song like this? Amazing work.

  • renard uses modplug, thats enough for me to try it altogether

  • He does? The guy who did that John Freeman song? I didn't know that.

  • i don't mknow about the john freeman song, but look up system failure by renard

  • oops, im sorry i posted that to you from my tother account, and i mistook its NegaRen that uses modplug tracker to make music

  • @xarcosis The guy who did that John Freeman song?

    Dude

  • I use modplug on my songs - I'm on iLike on facebook as Boydus.

  • Good god! Nice job

  • nice use of effects!

  • Sounds very good. It was made at a very slow tempo (I'm guessing around 50-60), but it still sounds great.

  • I suggest getting SoundFont2 or VST libraries. It may be difficult to find free ones, but a lot of them are much better quality than the default one Windows gives you.

Other than that, most modtracker forums should have some torrents to a large array of samples. I remember getting one a while ago which harboured about 4gb of raw samples of all types.

  • Do you know where you can link me to a free SF2 download?

  • I can't import sf2 files..

  • Okay...? Sounds like music that would be from Donkey kong...

  • now, calm down. jeez, it's not like he insulted it or anything.

  • I lol'd!

  • not a nerd, just thought it would be obvious it would sound like video game music since it's modplug

  • holy crap that is one of the fastest replies I have ever gotten.

  • my fastest was in 30 seconds, my slowest was 1 1/2 years later

  • howd you do dat

  • hands down one of the coolest, most complex, and best sounding ModPlug pieces i have ever heard. 5/5 fav.

  • look up a tutorial they r all over hte web

  • yeh can u teach me too, i want to put some music on Unreal Tournament or Unreal Gold but i dont know what to do with that program, the only thing i use that program is to convert .WAV into .XM and then convert it to .UMX xD, but if u dont want to tech me its ok

  • nice! 5/5 + fav. xD

  • Who said bad quality?

add &fmt=18 at the end of the the url and you can get this.

Watch this video in lower quality for faster playback. Watch this video in higher quality.

    or

Watch this video in higher quality.

    BTW OMG NIIIICE =D

  • Thanks, I didn't know that. But it seems the quality loss came from resolution truncation. It had too many tracks (hence, more width) to fit and look nicer. :P

  • Your Welcome ^^
