@2007Ballroom Exactly. I know that I am left to scratch my head when certain winners are chosen. Ex: "Bryton" from Y&R. Didn't he win a couple of years in a row for Outstanding Younger Actor? I am a faithful viewer of Y&R and "Bryton," (sorry but since he changed his name to just a first name, I find it silly)...anyway, I have seen all of his performances. He is alright, but hardly worthy of an Emmy Award. How did Drew Tyler Bell win? He isn't on contract & hasn't even had a s/l EVER!

Am I the only one that misses the way that our Daytime Emmys USED to be? I *LOVE* to see each actor's and show's reel during each category, (EXAMPLE: Laura Wright, "Carly" General Hospital- the camera cuts to a split screen of Laura's face and an excerpt from the reel that she submitted for said category). It builds excitement and suspense, which, IMHO, has been missing for the past few yrs Emmy Awards. Anyone agree? I know that they must cut corners/budget stuff, but c'mon!
