Cell phones and wi fi sets are high frequency low power radios. They are not microwave ovens. Cell phone towers must be within 3Km or so to pick up a signal. This is about the same or less than for a CB radio or walkie talkie. Wi Fi is only for ten or twenty meters.
There is probably more induced RF from the magnatron of a micro wave oven than from a cell phone.

After learning that all cell phone providers use microwave technology, I ended my service. I was very disappointed by the lack of integrity of cell phone companies to use microwaves. Equally disappointed by lan line providers for taking a tax break to improve internet quality and instead of improving the internet, pocketing the money, I decided not to acquire a lan line (see Bill Moyer's PBS special). So, I use an internet service to make phone calls called Skype. Btw, It is super cheap.

Firstly, I assume you mean wavelength, not waves. Secondly, are you aware that Electromagnetic radiation (again, assuming this is what you meant as opposed to fields) encompasses X-rays and gamma rays at one end of the spectrum?

@ccd101 I am aware of this, the wavelengths are too long and transfer too little energy to cause ionization or molecular breakage. The only thing they could do is heat you up a bit, and cell phones produce far too little radiation to be noticeable.

That is what Carlo was studying. That is why he's one of the most knowledgeable critics of wireless safety. Whoever gave you your information is not credible.

There is evidence that they do cause problems, as there is evidence that they don't. Which evidence you choose to take notice of or ignore is your personal choice. Once upon a time many doctors said that smoking was harmless. Just because medical professionals use phones and WI-FI is absolutely irrelevant to this debate. You said below 'they don't give you cancer' that is an opinion not a fact, but you state it as fact. Low dose non-thermal EM has been shown to affect cellular machinations.

Cell phones and wi fi sets are high frequency low power radios. They are not microwave ovens. Cell phone towers must be within 3Km or so to pick up a signal. This is about the same or less than for a CB radio or walkie talkie. Wi Fi is only for ten or twenty meters.
There is probably more induced RF from the magnatron of a micro wave oven than from a cell phone.

I will no longer install wi-fi routers for my customers because of the growing evidence of risk to health. I now we hear that cordless phones and cell phones can be even more harmful to health than wi-fi.
There is plenty of info out there on the risks. For example, Google "Wi-Fi: Children at risk from electronic smog"
My philosophy now is to use Mains Lans and ethernet cables. I've also switched to an older style-wired phone. Why risk your health for wire-LESS

Wow, you are such a compassionate person to wish brain cancer onto someone so they will "learn your lesson". That is literally INSANE and it is obvious Liberalism is truly a mental disorder. You yell at us to look at the science and yet you sight ZERO science facts, seems you may be suffering from this mental disorder - seek help because there is a cure... its called COMMON SENSE!!!

sceptics will always be in this world..that will never change...the only time it will change is when themselves or a family member or close friend will have a brain tumour in the next few years..then they will ask why? bio pro is not a scam...it is a company who have dared to produce a product which will save lives..and all this is proven by science...which is the only thing sceptics believe in right? so open your eyes up and believe the facts before its too late. bio pro have great products!

Oh yes, were all just "skeptics" not practical "thinking" individuals that can spot a scam when we see one. There are two types of people in the world -- positive thinking people and negative thinking people. You are the latter, you advocate indirectly in your post for people to get brain tumors in the next few years to prove you are right. That is a sickness and it's the same sickness that infects the people at biopro to create a bogus product and make money off suckers like you.

I don't have a cell phone (thankfully), but god knows I get enough Electro Magnetic Radiation. When I go to school, think of ALL the people that are sending texts and calls to eachother! People like me are geting MASSIVE amounts of radiation just from being around all these people. STOP USING THESE DARN THINGS, for my, and your safety.

all the same things were said about cigarettes too....everybody was like....ya whatever... people are in denial cause we dont wanna give up our phones...but this is scary shit...the towers keep getting bigger....there s one like 900 ft or something in California with like 4,000 antennaes....thats a lot of juice.

i don't have a cell phone. originally it was because i couldn't stand someone being able to call me wherever i was. you know, i like my privacy. but now, my trivial feelings of unease about the dangers of cell phones are too great to ignore. for years i thought strange how we were told not to stand too close to a microwave yet we put the substance that was in the microwave into our bodies. so it makes sense to stay away from cell phones.

After learning that all cell phone providers use microwave technology, I ended my service. I was very disappointed by the lack of integrity of cell phone companies to use microwaves. Equally disappointed by lan line providers for taking a tax break to improve internet quality and instead of improving the internet, pocketing the money, I decided not to acquire a lan line (see Bill Moyer's PBS special). So, I use an internet service to make phone calls called Skype. Btw, It is super cheap.

I am the proof,i have no reason to lie.
My cancer/tumor took at least 7-10 years to give me the first warning sign-a stroke.If you think you are immune from mobile phone radiation then you are a fool.LOOK AT MY SITE IT IS THE TRUTH!

Oh, and I have heard him say that he does not endorse any of the Biopro products...I have never been able to find anything on the Internet that says he endorses them.
Oh, and regarding his credentials...the industry put $28.5 million into his research and supported him for 8 years....they must have thought he knew what he was doing....they just didn't like what he found out.

This "Dr." is a fraud, was burned by the cell phone companies, and is on a vendetta rampage pushing the class action suits for his own benefit thru Biopro. P.S. -- this Dr. is really a "trial lawyer". Is it all making sense now?

I am a vegetarian, who exercises and uses sun screen, but I have to say I am not sure if I could live with no TV, no microwave, no laptop and no cell phone. I might as well build a hut and live in the woods ;-)

That aside, there is now plenty of in vitro evidence (going back 20 years even, see some of Henry Lai's work for some older examples of this) that RF EMR can cause cell damage. What implications that have is unknown, but to claim that it is not possible is just naivety.

Luke, you can't make sweeping statements like "Electromagnetic fields produce waves to (sic) large to cause any cel (sic) damage" and hope to sound like you know what you are talking about. Firstly, I assume you mean wavelength, not waves. Secondly, are you aware that Electromagnetic radiation (again, assuming this is what you meant as opposed to fields) encompasses X-rays and gamma rays at one end of the spectrum?

No known or proven health risks. Electromagnetic fields produce waves to large to cause any cel damage. Read some basic chemistry.

go back to school. non-ionizing radiation, such as the low frenquency microwaves aren't powerful enough to ionize atoms(hence the name), effect molecules or damage DNA, but they definately will cause cell death, numerous studies point to this.

You are exactly right Luke! These people at biopro can not even explain their own science so they stopped trying to explain it to the distributors and they do not even understand the basics of EMF. None of these clowns are credentialed remotely in the area of Electromagnetic science and those they do find are self discrediting. They don't understand "microwave frequencies" vs. "radio frequencies" -- they are marketing people!MLMers not scientists!
