What the heck is wrong with some of you people your not his coach. He doesn't watch his highlight video to get coached by people he doesn't even know.
Remember to catch the ball away from your body and draw it in. A guy with a 7' wingspan will knock the ball away if you catch it near your body. Use your body as a wedge between the ball and the defender then make your move. You have good length so remember to uses it whenever you can. He has a nice quick dribble so twice is fine.
in the beginning when you are posting on the right block. You should be practicing a drop step with your left foot, then a power dribble then dunk. Seal the guy on the way to the bucket. That move where you dribble twice in the lane, will never happen in the Big East, someone will steal the ball. Dont even practice it, commit to practicing that you have at the most one dribble. Try to play against the best competion you can find. Last but not least, welcome to Mountaineer country!
@FlipROver That's not true I see guys dribble more than once all the time without it getten stolen. I saw Deniz absolutely tear up McGhee while he dribble more than twice through the lane. Obviously you can't even put the ball on the floor if your in a crowd but if you got just you and your man and everyone else is cleared out a little then you can go to work in the post and that means you can dribble more than once. Especially if you go away from the defenders.
