I just realised that this was first broadcast on TEE ER OH ESS RADIO, or Tros Radio, which still operates. It only broadcasts absolute crap now but it must have been awesome back in the day, if it broadcast this back then.... such a shame I missed the seventies.

@11donkeydick Dude, THIS IS THE ORIGINAL!!! This is the ORIGINAL bass and even the melody that Mariah Carey later copied in her hit song "You've Got Me Feeling Emotions". Interesting, to note that the name of this group was in fact "The Emotions". Those were the days of music making excellence across musical genres. How I miss them so!

@11donkeydick Yeah you're right ... how can this be the original bass line, i mean, everyone wears sports jackets like that these days on music shows. And all those guys wearing those afro hair wigs; was that for charity ? What are those trousers called with the 24" bottoms, I know you can still buy those in any regular shopping mall.
