  • thats great video

  • Pulled an all nighter now I only hear "blah blah blah".

  • all people with hiv should die thats the only way we get rid of the disease

  • @Teddybeer42 are you crazy?? you are talking about hundreds of thousands of people. but then again it might work. but still wrong decision

  • @AJpennster

you are dumb, you think only hunred of thousands of people got hiv/aids?!

    hahahahhaha loser

it's their own fault, they fucked around without any protection, then you get hiv, simple as that

i don't feel sorry for them there are worser diseases like cancer and the people that have cancer is the group i feel sorry for, not that slutty hiv monsters

  • @Teddybeer42 ur the dumb one. you cannot get hiv by having unprotected sex. it can occur in other ways of sharing live blood with an infected person. and hiv makes it easier for the infected person to get other diseases...

  • @AJpennster

fuck off dumb ass whos the dumb one here, you claim that you cannot get aids by unprotected sex hahahahaha is that a joke stupid now i get it you got AIDS and want to clear your name by saying not getting it by any form of sex

    YOU ARE KANKER DUMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HAHAHAHAHHAHAH

  • CD4 is a co-receptor that assists the T cell receptor (TCR) to activate its T cell following an interaction with an antigen presenting cell. Using its portion that resides inside the T cell, CD4 amplifies the signal generated by the TCR by recruiting an enzyme. CD4 also interacts directly with MHC class II molecules on the surface of the antigen presenting cell using its extracellular domain. so u cant change it without side effects...

  • Excuse me, meant to say 10% of caucasians.

  • the cure is comming...i just know it.

  • me TOO :D

  • the cure is money... once you can inject money into your blood stream it will cure the virus!! :)

  • I haven't figured out how to inject money in my blood stream. If money were liquid than it would be easy, but paper money... I don't know hoe to do it.

  • Blender w/water. Make a slurry.

  • @mykoolaidtastesfunny damn that's funny that all your dumbass comments are marked as spam. It's good to see that sane people know the real truth. Get a fucking job you overfed lowlife.

  • @psychobattle Lol...um that would be from "Dr" Sockpuppet playing with his "friends" on youtube. I have the list ofhis sockpuppets on my channel. The genius had FOUR Humanshot channels. Hmanshot Humansot1 Humanshot2 an Humanshot3 just for starters. There are videos where everyone has been spammed but "them"

  • "we're all still waiting for the actual micrographs" Catch up, you are living 25 years in the past.

Public Health Image Library image number 10000

VIROLOGY - CHAPTER SEVEN PART SEVEN, HUMAN IMMUNODEFICIENCY VIRUS AND AIDS Richard Hunt - Has a page full of SEMs of HIV.

HIV virus / AIDS Virus / AIDS Pictures | Hardin MD : AIDS / HIV - a stack more...

johnson research labaratory HIV Type 1 - another stack. So much for the denialist BS that HIV has never been isolated or photomicrographed.

  • Yeah, we saw images in regular old Micro class last semester. Intresting stuff. But yeah if I saw it in class, any credible scientist working in the field should know about that already. How would everyone feel about a drug that modifies our own cd4 receptors so that gp120 cant link up? Would you feel odd altering your own cells? Or would you consider it a viable cure?

  • They are looking at the possibility of blocking CCR5, or genetically modifying the stem cells to alter CCR5 (artificially producing a mutation similar to the CCR5 delta 32 mutation).

The idea of modifying my genome gives me the creeps. I would prefer to use something like a MAB to block CCR5. If bad side effects start showing up, you can always withdraw therapy. If you change the genome, then you are stuck with the change.

  • Interestingly, 10% of caucasians are already carriers for a 32 bp deletion of CCR5, and they seem to be resistant to HIV. I think this is a promising approach.

  • @ccr5cxcr4 how long does this crap survive if its not in your body. i always get nervous when i go to the bar and the girl who makes my drink gets cold soars. or even if at macdobalds the person who hands me my food has a cut on there hand. I only sleep with someone who i know real well and is tested and i dont share needles so is there like any chance in hell of me getting it.

  • @william3228

if you modified cd4, you're immune system can't work efficiently anymore because the cd4 can't bind to the non-morphological region of our MNHC-II class, which means immune defficiency.

  • Great images and animation. Thanks for making this. Could you perhaps make a version that is a little easier for those of us who aren't microbiologists to follow? Going a little more slowly and providing some more background context would help this reach a wider audience more effectively, I think. Great job though!
