Well it worked,but one problem wasn't solved. For some reason,i couldn't close the fake security alert and i couldn't open taskmgr no matter how i tried. So i used the search bar to find the location of the hotfix.exe.
Great vid, thank you! one quick question though. do you have to edit the registry? we just did this to remove this virus from my girlfriends vista pc.
what if for some reason i don't have hotfix on the task manager?

you can tell its fake because the legit program scans GREEN NOT BLUE, and the real MSE alert happens in the system tray!
