It's the components that make the bikes lighter. I've seen a Hi-Mod Cannondale SuperSix weighing in 10.1 pounds. Why? Cause it had carbon cranks carbon break calipers etc. Obviously it's not UCI legal. But it just goes for show that it's the components that makes a bike real light.
actually the scott addict has been weighed in at about 790g while this cervelo frame is a touch over 850. the cervelo is much stiffer, and much more comfortable. overall, its much better than the scott.
