  • Iguanas are the reptile version of a labrador.

  • Really? I think of them more as cats than dogs...maybe because of thier calm nature.

  • I love this family. We spent lots of money getting the proper UV lights, heating & basking areas for our IGs & a safe place outdoors. We learned that collards, mustard greens, etc..had the most calcium for them. And when a guy contacted me wanting to know how to raise them for resale.. I recommended he raise them to EAT, that it would be more humane. Most owners do not provide proper Habitat and Food.. and IGs die before they get to enjoy life. Please read before you buy one.

  • Iguanas are not dangerous! They make great pets. Some don't respond too well with ppl because either they were mistreated or simply neglected. They just need TLC and lots of attention and good food.Never anything with protein such as eggs, meat, etc. which can cause premature death and it's never good to feed them Avacados either. They can eat leafy greens. You can buy a variety in your local grocery store like spring mix used to make salads, also a favorite is dandelion leaves, fruits and veggies.

  • I think That family is doing i a wonderful thing .Helping to save Iguana in there native habitat.

Im sad to say though that I live in south Florida and Iguana are killing our native wildlife. There here because of Irresponsible pet owners releasing there Iguanas .You can read more about it in the book .

The Iguana Cookbook, save Florida eat an Iguana.

PS: iwreckdotcom : Captive Adult male Iguana are known for being aggressive during breading season. So beware!!!

  • I love the iguanas

  • iggy pop comes to mind

  • thats funny because i named my iguana iggy because i thought of iggy pop

  • everyone names their iguana iggy...

  • iggy is just a shorter way for saing iguana like my iggy like bananas it mean my iguana like bannas

  • I'm talking about the name..Not what people refer them too. Almost everyone names their iguana "Iggy"

  • check out our 33 pound iguana Bevin and other igs

  • no its not

  • IGUANA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • how long does it takes to grow a small iguana to a big one...

  • My iguana has it easy compared to these guys! He gets to hang out around a pool all day and whenever he's hungry just comes and begs for food, walks in the kitchen and eat's the doggie's food, roams the house. Does whatever he pleases.

  • i want one but are they dangerous

  • no iguanas are not dangerous but u need to spend alot of time on them

  • WHAT U MEAN SPEND A LOT OF TIME ON THEM??

  • I love iguanas.......^_^

  • wow!!! that's a lot of iguanas!!!!

  • i want that

  • very very wonderful

thank you for a nice video you shared

    with us..^______^

  • You better pray more....the "faggot" name calling is really sad for you to do.

    Hate is ugly.

  • It's great this family is caring for them (Except for holding them by their neck!!) I would have an iguana over a dog- anyday.

  • i would love to live there

  • vaya familia guatemalteca jeje jaja aqui tambien les decimos garrobos

  • Chicken sucks, they have no vitamins. Iguana meat does, they feed from herbs and other natural grown products..Chicken are mistreated and their meat is no good..

  • Im an Iguana

  • LMAO EYE 2 am an Iguana dats funny

  • im hungry already. Fried Iguana is my favorite dish. You people dont understand, but they taste very good. I am from Guatemala myself, This people are not the only ones with Iguana farms, theres thousands of iguana farms in Guatemala. The good thing about living in Guatemala is that you'll never go hungry.

  • I prefer chicken

  • all im saying is that i would have an heart attack if i evea evea buck up one of those...

  • Nice, i love igaunas.

  • That is so cool!! My iguana is only 2 years old and not near full grown, and he is sooooo mean. I wish i could hold him like they hold those

  • im scareddd omggg ahhhh

  • 2:33 you DONT hold them that way but....i guess it seems like they kno what theyre doing...since they have 500 of them

  • awsome vid godbless this people...

  • In Brazil, I only can see iguanas in Zoos.

But the Brazilian iguanas are one of the largest iguana's variations. they live in Amazonia and keep the green color for all their lives.

  • i want to live there =D i <3 Iguana's

  • lol NO. you dont want to live there haha

  • yum... delicious!

  • fuck you

  • why aere yo

  • i luv iguana, i just got a baby green iguana and i dunno how to take care of it !! can any1 help me !! i live in very hot weather (UAE) !!

  • hi!

    please google "Green iguana society"

they have excellent information on their special diet and care for iguanas.

if you can, order a copy of "the ultimate iguana" by james hatfield.

  • yr ya jus need a good heat lamp between 80 n 85 degrees, a heat mat n feed it a lot of cabage, brocly, n a small bit of fruit wen der young, if ya want anymore info jus let me no

  • n spray it at least three times a day

  • not a heat lamp, you need a light that produces UVB radiation. Iguanas need it to produce calcium. Or they die.

  • The main thing for in living in the middle east is HUMIDITY. It's very dry in UAE so it will be verrrryyy important to keep his enclosure misted like feldegest above me has said. Also, no meat or other animal protein despite what other advice you may get. As much different vegetables and fruit as possible and sunlight or full spectrum light if indoors. Also be sure to get the proper vitamins(especially D3) and calcium supplements into that food. There's way too much more info to give. Read Books

  • Nice video, thanks.

I remember hunting iguanas in my granpa's farm in Guatemala as a child. I never ate iguanas but love iguana eggs. I remember my grandfather bought about 20 - 30 peteneras(huge iguanas from Peten). We ate their eggs and them released them in the farm. Great memories, thanks again.

  • How were they cooked. I do presume they were cooked. :)

  • They get soft boiled with salt. After they are cooked you just make a little hole on one end and suck everything out. Taste delicious.

  • i want an iguana. they're so cool. i remember my babysitter used to have a HUGE iguana when I was younger...i used to feed it. they're mostly a chill species.
