Long story short: you are doing something wrong; learn to use your Mac before making a video that makes you look even stupider than you may be. Also, data can be recovered--you just have to know how to do it. MacFS is also journaled, do you even know what that means?

I am a FreeBSD adminstrator. OS X is based on FreeBSD. Maybe you should actually learn something besides the GUI. There is allot more to it than you realize. It handles memory better (etc...) If you want to shutdown an app just use the console dumbass! `kill -9 PID` to shutdown its `shutdown -h now` to reboot its `sudo shutdown -r now`. The TCP/IP stack is also much better than the one they finally built for XP.

OS X is UNIX, most of the internet is UNIX. The Stack that OSX uses is the SAME stack as all UNIX servers, it was invented by Berkley Systems. The stack used is also the first to seamlessly impliment and integrate IP v6. Do you even know what the 7 layer ISO TCP/IP model is?

Sorry buddy, you are thinking about Linux. Unix does not equal Linux and vice versa. The commands may be the same but Linux was built from the ground up by Linus who happened to use Unix a lot.

Also, the 7th layer of the ISO TCP/IP model is Application layer. As for IP v6. The reason it isn't implemented yet is that the ISP's are doing an exceptional job of using the current IP v4, making it that we have not run out of IP addresses as of yet and not creating the need to move to v6.

Also, the fact that the new Mac is covered with half an inch of lucite, so when my buddy lost his CD to the "Super Drive" (ate the CD, and decided to ignore the fact it was in there, it didn't run, or even spin), we had to take a sawsall to it. MS Dos is crap. Its an 8 bit os, it handles memory badly and many other things it is alos not multi tasking. You don't even have DOS on your new windows; its just a shell that uses windows utillity programs; the real MS Dos left after win 98. OS X has KSH, CSH, TCSH (etc...) Those are UNIX shells (unix is a true 32 bit and 64 bit environment.)
