mental illness is not a personality flaw it is real and people are really suffering it is no different than any other illness cancer aids and anything else its not a personality thing its a problem in the organ of the brain, it has nothing to do with god or religion it is a chemical disorder and anyone who says differently is extremely misinformed. If someone you know or care about may be having trouble with these kinds of things they must go see a doctor and stick with the treatment plan!!!!!
i admit i commented before on how great i was doing on my meds but it turned into a disaster. im not listening to my doctors overmedicating advice and am trying out truehope.
Good GOD! She had 10 children and was exposed to a cult-like religion which encourages this type of mass breeding. As someone with bi-polar and who was raised in a cult-like religion that isolated me from pretty much everything, I can tell you with certainty that the combination of these two things could push anyone over the edge. To deny her environment as a contributing, if not causal factor, is tantamount to chosing to be delusional. As to this treatment, and it's effectiveness, RESEARCH!
I have been suffering from Bipolar 1 disorder since I was 15. I have been successfully treated with lithium, and following a balanced lifestyle. It is a never ending job and you have to put in effort and work on it to live a healthy life, like a person with any illness. There is no cure and an expensive vitamin isn't going to help unless you are experiencing the placebo effect. I was in the hospital with a person taking true hope. They got better after taking real medication.
@laurapostill perhaps you could read the comments below, such as "saved my life"?
that's what it did for my son as well. saved his life, after pharma drugs nearly ruined it. you may also want to check the results of the double-blind clinical trials. this is REAL medicine that outperforms pharma drugs. i'm sure it does not work for everybody - no drug does. but for those that it works on, it works WONDERS
@mia67n I think it's great if it works for some people. All psychotropic medications shouldn't be ruled out as being bad or going to kill. I experience minimal side effects on lithium, seroquel, clonazepam, rispiridone, and effexor. I feel good and am enjoying my life. I make sure to get enough exercise, eat well, and take vitamins. My doctor explained there is nothing wrong with taking true hope it will just put a dent in the wallet. If my meds are working i'm not going to stop taking them :)
@laurapostill I'm glad you found a good combo for you...but your doctor is doing his other patients a disservice if that's what he tells all of them. My child was put on medications that have never been approved for children, that have serious permanent side effects that were not fully disclosed to us, and that ulitimately caused more problems for him - all without first offering to us the option of trying Truehope and fish oil. the mantra of "first, do no harm" should be followed
@laurapostill ....Mental illnesses of almost every kind are a nutritional deficiency and not a 'manmade drug' deficiency ..OR are caused from other 'manmade chemicals such as MSG, aspartame or sucralose (Splenda). You don't need a cure; you need a balanced diet using foods that provide the nutrients your body and brain need. Since most foods today don't give the nutrients you need, you need to supplement your diet with lots of vitamans AND MINERALS and enzymes, maybe like those in Empower etc
@laurapostill wrong im on empower and im stable theres no way its placebo placebo doesnt last this long. sure its expensive but it works. im glad lithium works for you.
@laurapostill Not true on the placebo effect comment. Placebo effect is generally accepted as having a duration of up to 2 weeks. I've got friends who suffered from bipolar disorder and depression who have successfully treated it longer than that. Maybe you should check out the dozen+ independent studies out there.

this drug has saved my life and its only been 2 months, i can have a life, anyone who has bipolar disorder and is hesitate to try it, dont be it will save your life.
i have been taking the supplement for 4 months now and it has completely changed me. The brain takes a long time to heal but the worst of it meaning the suicidal thoughts were gone within 3 days
kaskadaks, there is no controversy surrounding this supplement. The worst claims are that it has no effect, an advertised feature (i.e. it works for 75% of people). Health Canada cracked down on them because they are corporate stooges. Mental health "doctors" and corps. are losing millions of dollars on dangerous and ineffective treatments because somebody found a safe method. They were desperate to kill this discovery. As usual, they didn't care one iota how many people suffered and died.
Google "empowerplus fraud". There is quite a lot of contrary opinions out there, some of it rather disturbing. At least get the bigger picture before you get your hope up.
TrueHope will not work with anyone until they have an initial phone interview. They are clear during the interview that research shows that the supplement works for 75% of people. Nothing works for 100% of the people 100% of the time. I am one of the 75% of people that were able to be helped by EmpowerPlus. I was immensely grateful to find it & for the continual support of the TrueHope organization.

anyone interested in trying this should know a few things before they think they are buying a magic pill to cure all their problems in life. Exercise everyday, eating 3+ meals a day, eating fruits and vegetables everyday, being somewhat social, and being outside are all things that will significantly help along with the vitamins
This is such a great observation. My son would agree with all of this advice - that's just what he does and it's a critical part of natural treatment of bipolar. Also sleeping 8-9 hours a night, and take omega-3 fish oil. Lithium orotate is also a great supplement (this is OTC and nothing like the prescription version.)
@ManicSkates - I wish more people would realize that all of those things go hand-in-hand with meds as part of treatment. I've been on Lamictal and Lexapro for more than two years now, but I also have a solid sleep schedule, eat right, exercise everyday, and stay away from alcohol. Too many people fool themselves into thinking that the meds are all they need, then when they don't work, they tend to give up hope or try other drugs while continuing to neglect their health.
@ManicSkates I completely agree. I have friends that have done well treating their depression and bipolar disorder with the Truehope vitamins, but one of my friends likes to say that they are meant to help with the dietary deficiencies, not actually repalce good foods. The other pieces of advice are great too.
Mia67n, I have to thank you for posting this video. It has saved my life. I have bipolar II and I am not tolerate of any meds. I've tried many. Since I've taken empower plus I have never felt better. It truly works great for me. It's a great alternative for people that can't take prescription medications. God bless you for getting the word out.
You are so welcome, jtooj. I am very happy you are feeling better. Yes, this stuff is for real. I wish I could hug those two guys in Canada, for all the lives they've saved. Love to you! Mia
For someone suffering from bipolar disorder or depression, it would be better to either change to a healthy diet or take some vitamin supplement (it could be this one or other one)and seeing what happens before going to a psychiatrist. Some research shows that anti-depressants work only as well as a placebo, so if your placebo is a vitamin, it wouldn't have the side-effects of anti-depressants.
for normal depression, placebo meds might help, aslong as the patient think he gets SSRI`s. vitamins and a healthier diet will help for BD and normal depressions, but people with BD need help, and most of them need meds too.
Biplar is a disorder you have your whole life, Depression can be cured.
Is bipolar really a disorder you have your whole life? The same is said sometimes of depression too, and of schizophrenia. And acording to some, schizophrenia can actually be cured.
they think it comes from a traumatic experience, and then you have it your whole life.
theres alot of different depressions, it can sometimes be easily cured, but for some it keeps coming back.
well, acording to some, gay people could be cured with prayers. Never seen someone with schizophrenia getting cured, but with meds they can live a pretty "normal" life.
oh and GurnSi, if you think its a fraud, please tell me how people with BP can stay up for weeks without sleeping.?
I never seen a person with schizophrenia, but by what I read people with schizophrenia do get cured. It dependes on where do you get your information. Some say schizophrenia can never be cured, some say that in some circustances up to 60% of schizophrenics can be cured.
And i see the difference from psych meds as being like you say ..less toxic but also it is nutrition which we is getting less and less in our food. The amount of nutrients food used to contain was much higher in the past compared to now days.
if you check out my channel, there is a playlist on the front, click it and all you ever wanted to know about meditation is there :)
I dont like most youtube meditation videos so I made my own
You will find beginning, intermediate and advanced meditation plus instruction on how to pick a teacher or a path and dealing with unique meditation related problems :)
If you learn my methods, you may end up with a system you control that will not cost you much money but it does cost time. (to learn)
Sounds great ..thanks :) Like i said I'm always open to new things. When i was on meds I had to be open to alternative therapy's to end up on vitamins maybe with your techniques I can also be free of all substances..I will admit anything is possible.
Thank you for posting the discovery channel documentary. Because of you it has saved my life. I have bipolar and it has allowed me to get of meds, which made the condition worse and am now living a stable life. Thanks again for posting it.
These people are mormons and believe that Christ heals. If it worked why don't they have a moneyback guarantee. They only accept unoppened bottles for partial refund.
I have personally used empower plus for 6 years ...its works. Ive been medication free for 6 years. My doctor said i had a miraculous change "for the better" on these vitamins compared to the medication he had me on for over 10 years. If you are having trouble with meds and other treatments..I urge you to try this..you may get your life back like i did. Meds had me so doped up I lost my personality, these vitamins gave that and much more back. Truehope support will work with you and your meds
I'm happy meditation worked for you but at the same time I will say don't underestimate nutrition. I actually do both and for me this is what it took...there is no one size fits all. We are all unique and therefore their may be more than one solution. Can you explain how you meditate?..maybe it will help others including me. I'm always open to new ideas.
but you didn't try empower did you?...so you can say the substances you tried did not give you peace but its not to say that empower wouldn't have and I can say this because its the only substance that did give me peace as well as it did many many others. They will never ban vitamins at worst they will require a prescription and if they do that they might as well do the same for food we eat since it contains nutrition and as the definition of a drug can be used to prevent, cure disease etc
I did not try empower. There was no need. I have been cured of my bipolar since 2000ish. It is my understanding that Canada has banned Empowerplus. Is that still the case? Other folks have likened Empower to a pyramid scheme
You are still taking this supplement, day after day, year after year, shelling out the money
How do you know you still need it? What happens when you go off your *med*?
If you stop taking it and get symptoms back, how is it different from psych meds other than less toxic?
I am so tired of typing a comment and it never posts... I just typed out a complete box full and clicked post comment, the box goes a tan color and that's it..very irritating to say the least.
lol ..I had someone here accuse me of plagiarism because of one of my posts not making it that included the original author...Hey couldn't i in turn accuse him of slander :P
I see, because before I asked you, I found online reports about it being banned as of 2003 and the impression I got from another report dated 2007 was that it was still banned.
Yup its kinda like Chris Rock said..its not that the government doesn't want you to do drugs..they want you to do their drugs. And when you see the ads listing all the side effects and the happy people taking this junk (medications) its almost laughable. Its about money and we are their resource for their financial well being.
so empower is not curing you is what you are saying?
It is a healthy alternative to lithium?
But it has no permanent curative properties?
If taking it can't give you a real cure then I guess I just don't understand the appeal Whatever the root causes of your issues are this is acting like an aspirin for a headache, same as psyche meds
I don't even need to meditate every day anymore. In fact I took an entire year off from meditating and symptoms did not return.
If you were to stop eating food would you not get sick? is it not an appeal to eat so you don't get sick? then ask why did you get sick..was it because your body requires something it wasn't getting? I see the vitamins and minerals the same way...My body , brain , bipolar needs the nutrition i get from empowerplus...pretty much as simple as that.
Can I ask ..How bad was your bipolar? were you ever hospitalized because some have it very bad and simply cannot cope it is so strong therefore would be very difficult to focus on anything let alone meditating
my bipolar was so bad I had a half dozen suicides attempts, I was restrained for psychosis, my family gave me over to the state and I spent years in institutions. I ended up homeless, wanted by the cops, in debt
I was diagnosed inpatient during a 3 month stay in a private state of the art psychiatric facility.
Wow... I have to say I admire you and your will power to overcome such a debilitating problem such as bipolar with your mind. You have quite a story to tell to inspire others to do the same.
also is it possible you didn't have bipolar...were you actually diagnosed by a psychiatrist... I ask because some have added up their symptoms and labeled themselves as bipolar.
not only did I have bipolar 1, I was a dual Dx, bipolar and schizoaffective on top of PTSD.
so basically three severe mental illness at age 14.
at this point I recommend you view some of my recovery vids like my Bipolar Recovery in 12 steps video or my Bipolar Disorder, Is it real or BS? video
I'm watching your "Bipolar Disorder: Is it real or bullsh*t?" One things comes to mind..My psychiatrist when i asked him "well how do you know I'm bipolar" his answer was " What else could it be" so basically its a process of elimination. your video so far is making sense...
My symptoms actually surfaced after I came in contact with a chemical during the gulf war so as far as being bipolar I've always been skeptical. The fact that vitamins are helping me may support that it helping me in the sense of nutrition for the chaos that the chemical is doing in my body. Very interesting what you claim you've done with your meditation.
I have to say I just watched your video...Your extremely intelligent person. Ill be looking into more of your videos. If you think of anymore than you feel may have relevance on my situation feel free to private message me any time. gtg for now ..god bless :)
despite people what people say about religion--it seems that the kind of violent problems that these people have experienced can be seen in the world view-- we could benefit from supplements regardless of a diagnosis-the world food supply has been altered and brings the necessity for supplements
I don't know why they haven't called you back. They've been great with my calls. I hope you'll keep trying. No, I surely don't work for them. When my son was diagnosed, I started spending every free minute researching on the internet. I stumbled upon them - heard about it from Ken Jensen, he is bipolar and has a website called ittakesgutstobeme dot com I bought his ebook about natural management of bipolar. Truehope was the #1 most importnat thing he does. This is no joke, it works!
Besides, yesterday I watched a woman write out a check for over $600.00 at a Wal-Mart pharmacy for a 15 day supply of a single drug. I chatted with her. Her insurance company was giving her fits so she bought them out-of-pocket and hoped her insurance company would reimburse her like this did in the exact same scenario last month.
That is $1,200.00 for a 30 day supply. And you call $70.00 +/- extremely expensive? Get some perspective please.
Actually, it does. Mormon women have the highest suicide rate in the U.S. & possibly the world. Recent studies show that Mormons (and in particular Mormon women) have the highest rate of depression in the U.S. & the highest rates of prescription drug abuse in the U.S. Mormon women also lead the world in use of the prescription drug, Prozac. Having too many children is the primary cause, although their are many others. It's not just Mormonism but all patriarchal fundamintalist religions.
I have checked out PigPills thoroughly, and corresponded with the dermatologist who is in this movie, and on that site. He is not credible. Truehope is in double blind clinical trials right now. Thank goodness this quack wasn't successful in stopping them before they got to this point.
K, so if he wasnt mormon would you people be saying the same things. I am mormon and personally very interested in other relgions....but i still believe in mine. I may be a wierd person but not due to my church...do to myself. DONT BE STEROYTYPICAL. thats gay.
Btw this is my friends account my accounts hehe1.
a most excellent video for those looking into alternatives to the prescription drug market to deal with the root of Bipolar and not mask the symptoms.
They need the money to fight Mr PigPills. Believe me compared to paying for the big pharma pills they had my son on, this is a BARGAIN. I am happy to give them their pennies on the dollar for keeping my son sane and healthy. This is no racket, it's real medicine.
The product is chelated, taken from natural sources, lab tested to ensure consistent levels, while the company pays for phone support for tens of thousands of bipolar people. They also must use their income to defend themselves in court and correcting misinformation, e.g. they mopped the floor with Health Canada, spending $500,000, rather than paying a $5000.00 fine, paving the way for OTHER natural medicines to succeed.
Huh? I'm an atheist myself, and agree that Mormon views are ridiculous (god lives on a planet named Kobol, and the Garden of Eden is in Missouri?!). But I can still be grateful to them for what they've done here. Sure, they have suspended all reason, judgment and logic when it comes to certain areas of their life...but that doesn't invalidate all the other good things they do.
From Wikipedia: According to the literal interpretation, Kolob is an actual star or planet in this universe that is near to, or perhaps the sun of, the physical throne of God. This interpretation has significant formative impact on Mormon belief and criticism, leading to conceptions such as that the faithful will be made gods of planets in this universe.
Whoever wrote that Wikipedia page is a moron. I have been a Mormon my whole life. I have lots of Mormon relatives. The idea of Kolob means nothing to us and other members of the Church. Yes, Kolob is supposed to be near God, but Joseph Smith's description of where God lives does not make it sound like a planet. Also, WIKIPEDIA??? For MORMONS? Yeah, that's bound to be objective. STUPID choice of references.
Why does it matter what you believe? Because religious people make major life and political decisions based on delusional beliefs that affect all of us. And teaching children to be similarly deluded is a form of child abuse. Stunting their minds permanently, filling them with irrational fears, and setting them up to be manipulated by church leaders, instead of thinking for themselves.
And yet, strangely enough, Mormons are typically happier than other people, ESPECIALLY Atheists, despite all their "irrational fears" and whatever delusions YOU are having about US. Atheist suicide rates are higher than the average divorcee. Also, from my experience, Mormons do not go around trying to scare ANYONE, much less children. Also, Church leaders only "manipulate" people into being better Christians. Isn't that terrible to have people filled with peace and love?
mormons, that explains everything. What can you say about a religion that claims all dark skinned people are those that wouldn't side with jesus or satan eh?
All religions have positive and negative (dark) aspects to them. I'm not religious and do agree that the Mormon's have a very strange and at times delusional dogma. Generally people are raised in the Mormon church and know no other belief system. However, they're still people and all people suffer.
Yea, and some people completly deserve their suffering. These people, they deserve it. Their actions caused it, their bullshit relegion, the constant pressure to live up to that. Heh, watching these people suffer could not be more pleasurable.
@Polybun For you to say something so cruel and heartless is truly unbelievable! "Watching these people suffer could not be more pleasurable"? Are you for real? I know plenty of people who aren't mormon's or have 9 kids, who suffer with mental illness.
@Polybun You don't understand her struggles or anything that she has faced in her life regardless of religion or anything. It wasn't " the pressure" that made her suicide. Please do yourself a favour and get informed without the prejudice. By the way, I'm this beautiful woman's daughter. I didn't do anything to "deserve suffering".
Parley Pratt said that. That's not the whole church. Should I take random quotes from people who also share your beliefs and blame you and everyone in your belief system for it?
mental illness is not a personality flaw it is real and people are really suffering it is no different than any other illness cancer aids and anything else its not a personality thing its a problem in the organ of the brain, it has nothing to do with god or religion it is a chemical disorder and anyone who says differently is extremely misinformed. This stuff really works ....I suffered from schizophrenia....then told I was Bipolar after 23 years of meds and I feel Great.
Doctors have to realize this stuff works.

Mia67n, I have to thank you for posting this video. It has saved my life. I have bipolar II and I am not tolerate of any meds. I've tried many. Since I've taken empower plus I have never felt better. It truly works great for me. It's a great alternative for people that can't take prescription medications. God bless you for getting the word out.
jtooj 3 years ago
You are so welcome, jtooj. I am very happy you are feeling better. Yes, this stuff is for real. I wish I could hug those two guys in Canada, for all the lives they've saved. Love to you! Mia

For someone suffering from bipolar disorder or depression, it would be better to either change to a healthy diet or take some vitamin supplement (it could be this one or other one)and seeing what happens before going to a psychiatrist. Some research shows that anti-depressants work only as well as a placebo, so if your placebo is a vitamin, it wouldn't have the side-effects of anti-depressants.
suarez976 3 years ago
for normal depression, placebo meds might help, aslong as the patient think he gets SSRI`s. vitamins and a healthier diet will help for BD and normal depressions, but people with BD need help, and most of them need meds too.
Biplar is a disorder you have your whole life, Depression can be cured.
Bjarnepotet 3 years ago
Is bipolar really a disorder you have your whole life? The same is said sometimes of depression too, and of schizophrenia. And acording to some, schizophrenia can actually be cured.
suarez976 3 years ago
they think it comes from a traumatic experience, and then you have it your whole life.
theres alot of different depressions, it can sometimes be easily cured, but for some it keeps coming back.
well, acording to some, gay people could be cured with prayers. Never seen someone with schizophrenia getting cured, but with meds they can live a pretty "normal" life.
oh and GurnSi, if you think its a fraud, please tell me how people with BP can stay up for weeks without sleeping.?
Bjarnepotet 3 years ago
I never seen a person with schizophrenia, but by what I read people with schizophrenia do get cured. It dependes on where do you get your information. Some say schizophrenia can never be cured, some say that in some circustances up to 60% of schizophrenics can be cured.
suarez976 3 years ago
And i see the difference from psych meds as being like you say ..less toxic but also it is nutrition which we is getting less and less in our food. The amount of nutrients food used to contain was much higher in the past compared to now days.

I would be very interested in the name of just a few of your favorite meditation videos.
souleeze 3 years ago
if you check out my channel, there is a playlist on the front, click it and all you ever wanted to know about meditation is there :)
(to learn)
SFJane 3 years ago
Sounds great ..thanks :) Like i said I'm always open to new things. When i was on meds I had to be open to alternative therapy's to end up on vitamins maybe with your techniques I can also be free of all substances..I will admit anything is possible.
souleeze 3 years ago
that is a great attitude to take. I had the same attitude, I tried reiki, crystals, aromatherapy and tons of other stuff.
SFJane 3 years ago

Truehope support will work with you and your meds
souleeze 3 years ago
so a supplement has replaced your psych meds. Your still popping something in your mouth to keep the bipolar bugs away or what?
I recommend meditation. It is scientifically proven to grow a bigger, denser brain. It strengthens the prefrontal cortex due to neuroplasticity
It changes your brain after awhile.
I don't take psyche meds or vitamin pills to deal with my bipolar
I flat out made it go away for good thanks to meditation
Don't underestimate the power of your brain to heal for good
SFJane 3 years ago
I'm happy meditation worked for you but at the same time I will say don't underestimate nutrition. I actually do both and for me this is what it took...there is no one size fits all. We are all unique and therefore their may be more than one solution. Can you explain how you meditate?..maybe it will help others including me. I'm always open to new ideas.
souleeze 3 years ago
Don't get me wrong, I am all into nutrition. if you chain smoke and drink 40 ounces of coffee a day, you give yourself a chemical imbalance.
I tried a lot of diet changes and supplements from mega doses of Vit C to St John's Wort.
substances did not give me peace, mind-body training was the fix
I have literally hours of meditation vids on how to meditate properly to get lasting mental health benefits.
also one other benefit is meditation can't be banned by the government :)
SFJane 3 years ago
but you didn't try empower did you?...so you can say the substances you tried did not give you peace but its not to say that empower wouldn't have and I can say this because its the only substance that did give me peace as well as it did many many others. They will never ban vitamins at worst they will require a prescription and if they do that they might as well do the same for food we eat since it contains nutrition and as the definition of a drug can be used to prevent, cure disease etc
souleeze 3 years ago
I did not try empower. There was no need. I have been cured of my bipolar since 2000ish. It is my understanding that Canada has banned Empowerplus. Is that still the case? Other folks have likened Empower to a pyramid scheme
You are still taking this supplement, day after day, year after year, shelling out the money
How do you know you still need it? What happens when you go off your *med*?
If you stop taking it and get symptoms back, how is it different from psych meds other than less toxic?
SFJane 3 years ago
I am so tired of typing a comment and it never posts... I just typed out a complete box full and clicked post comment, the box goes a tan color and that's it..very irritating to say the least.
souleeze 3 years ago
i understand, it happened to me once already here.
SFJane 3 years ago
lol ..I had someone here accuse me of plagiarism because of one of my posts not making it that included the original author...Hey couldn't i in turn accuse him of slander :P
souleeze 3 years ago
To try and answer you questions..no they are not banned..Health Canada tried but that ultimately failed.
souleeze 3 years ago
I see, because before I asked you, I found online reports about it being banned as of 2003 and the impression I got from another report dated 2007 was that it was still banned.
SFJane 3 years ago
I have taken them for over six years and have always gotten them..so if they were in fact banned it must have been only in canada.
souleeze 3 years ago
It's hard to beleive that Health Canada tried to destroy this company; no doubt big pharma were the organizations actually behind the witchhunt.
nagrom456 3 years ago 2
Yup its kinda like Chris Rock said..its not that the government doesn't want you to do drugs..they want you to do their drugs. And when you see the ads listing all the side effects and the happy people taking this junk (medications) its almost laughable. Its about money and we are their resource for their financial well being.
souleeze 3 years ago 4
And i know i still need it because i tried to go off it and my symptom came back within a week.
souleeze 3 years ago
so empower is not curing you is what you are saying?
It is a healthy alternative to lithium?
But it has no permanent curative properties?
If taking it can't give you a real cure then I guess I just don't understand the appeal Whatever the root causes of your issues are this is acting like an aspirin for a headache, same as psyche meds
I don't even need to meditate every day anymore. In fact I took an entire year off from meditating and symptoms did not return.
Meditation effects last.
SFJane 3 years ago
If you were to stop eating food would you not get sick? is it not an appeal to eat so you don't get sick? then ask why did you get sick..was it because your body requires something it wasn't getting? I see the vitamins and minerals the same way...My body , brain , bipolar needs the nutrition i get from empowerplus...pretty much as simple as that.
souleeze 3 years ago
well I dont see bipolar as a chemical imbalance the needs supplements.
There is no debating the body and brain need right nutrition, but even when I had that, I still had bipolar symptoms
because the mania and depression were not chemical imbalances.
mania was an undisciplined and stressed mind
the depression was spiritual fatigue at my own life and lack of self love
So, meditation slowed my thoughts and gave me self love and poof, no more manic depression, gone like it was never there.
SFJane 3 years ago
Can I ask ..How bad was your bipolar? were you ever hospitalized because some have it very bad and simply cannot cope it is so strong therefore would be very difficult to focus on anything let alone meditating
souleeze 3 years ago
my bipolar was so bad I had a half dozen suicides attempts, I was restrained for psychosis, my family gave me over to the state and I spent years in institutions. I ended up homeless, wanted by the cops, in debt
I was diagnosed inpatient during a 3 month stay in a private state of the art psychiatric facility.
SFJane 3 years ago
Wow... I have to say I admire you and your will power to overcome such a debilitating problem such as bipolar with your mind. You have quite a story to tell to inspire others to do the same.
souleeze 3 years ago
also is it possible you didn't have bipolar...were you actually diagnosed by a psychiatrist... I ask because some have added up their symptoms and labeled themselves as bipolar.
souleeze 3 years ago
not only did I have bipolar 1, I was a dual Dx, bipolar and schizoaffective on top of PTSD.
so basically three severe mental illness at age 14.
at this point I recommend you view some of my recovery vids like my Bipolar Recovery in 12 steps video or my Bipolar Disorder, Is it real or BS? video
SFJane 3 years ago
I rarely subscribe to anyone but i did you.
souleeze 3 years ago
I'm watching your "Bipolar Disorder: Is it real or bullsh*t?" One things comes to mind..My psychiatrist when i asked him "well how do you know I'm bipolar" his answer was " What else could it be" so basically its a process of elimination. your video so far is making sense...
souleeze 3 years ago
My symptoms actually surfaced after I came in contact with a chemical during the gulf war so as far as being bipolar I've always been skeptical. The fact that vitamins are helping me may support that it helping me in the sense of nutrition for the chaos that the chemical is doing in my body. Very interesting what you claim you've done with your meditation.
souleeze 3 years ago
I would surely be skeptical too. Your analysis may be spot on regarding vitamins. You might not be be properly diagnosed lol.
The government has stonewalled vets on chemical exposures for years unless I am mistaken.
You may have a very real chemical imbalance that gives you bipolar like symptoms.
If it is chemical exposure or some other industrial/military source than your Pdoc has been slacking and riding the bipolar party train.
SFJane 3 years ago
I have to say I just watched your video...Your extremely intelligent person. Ill be looking into more of your videos. If you think of anymore than you feel may have relevance on my situation feel free to private message me any time. gtg for now ..god bless :)

why are so many women getting depression after childbirth?...hmmmm maybe its the depletion of the minerals & vitamins on the body
naapiakii 3 years ago 2
despite people what people say about religion--it seems that the kind of violent problems that these people have experienced can be seen in the world view-- we could benefit from supplements regardless of a diagnosis-the world food supply has been altered and brings the necessity for supplements

Hey... the video has nothing to do with being Mormon!
GypsyGenGopher 3 years ago
No it sure doesn't, other than they credited God for the idea.

These People Devout Mormons never even have returned my telephone calls having promised too on 2 seperate occasions No Return Call,
These Vitamins are extremely expensive Mia67n all I can think is that you work for them.
Valuehunter0 3 years ago
I don't know why they haven't called you back. They've been great with my calls. I hope you'll keep trying. No, I surely don't work for them. When my son was diagnosed, I started spending every free minute researching on the internet. I stumbled upon them - heard about it from Ken Jensen, he is bipolar and has a website called ittakesgutstobeme dot com I bought his ebook about natural management of bipolar. Truehope was the #1 most importnat thing he does. This is no joke, it works!
mia67n 3 years ago
For a neutral and credible source, see also discovermagazine dot com's may 2005 issue in their archives. There is an article called Vitamin Cure.
mia67n 3 years ago
Are not extremely expensive.
22rifle 3 years ago
I'm on Emp-it is very expensive. Way more expensive than pmeds. however if it works it is worth it. So far it has been ok-about 50 per cent working.
healeeer 3 years ago
Actually, it does. Mormon women have the highest suicide rate in the U.S. & possibly the world. Recent studies show that Mormons (and in particular Mormon women) have the highest rate of depression in the U.S. & the highest rates of prescription drug abuse in the U.S. Mormon women also lead the world in use of the prescription drug, Prozac. Having too many children is the primary cause, although their are many others. It's not just Mormonism but all patriarchal fundamintalist religions.

That is completely true, I have personally seen in first hand, being the only non member of an entire Mormon family!!! (AKA Madness)

pigpills dot com has misleading information posted and does not respond to those who questioned it.

Its another Mormon Money making Racket
the products are very very expensive cost peanuts to make.
wwwFamilyPrideOrg 3 years ago
Thank you for sharing your opinion
GypsyGenGopher 3 years ago
They need the money to fight Mr PigPills. Believe me compared to paying for the big pharma pills they had my son on, this is a BARGAIN. I am happy to give them their pennies on the dollar for keeping my son sane and healthy. This is no racket, it's real medicine.
mia67n 3 years ago
Amen. SO true. They also needed the money to beat Health Canada in court to get the JUDGE declaring that it works and Health Canada is corrupt.
namordecai 3 years ago
The product is chelated, taken from natural sources, lab tested to ensure consistent levels, while the company pays for phone support for tens of thousands of bipolar people. They also must use their income to defend themselves in court and correcting misinformation, e.g. they mopped the floor with Health Canada, spending $500,000, rather than paying a $5000.00 fine, paving the way for OTHER natural medicines to succeed.
namordecai 3 years ago
Huh? I'm an atheist myself, and agree that Mormon views are ridiculous (god lives on a planet named Kobol, and the Garden of Eden is in Missouri?!). But I can still be grateful to them for what they've done here. Sure, they have suspended all reason, judgment and logic when it comes to certain areas of their life...but that doesn't invalidate all the other good things they do.
mia67n 4 years ago
Mormons do not believe God lives on a planet. And who cares where we believe the first people came from?
namordecai 4 years ago
From Wikipedia: According to the literal interpretation, Kolob is an actual star or planet in this universe that is near to, or perhaps the sun of, the physical throne of God. This interpretation has significant formative impact on Mormon belief and criticism, leading to conceptions such as that the faithful will be made gods of planets in this universe.
mia67n 4 years ago
Whoever wrote that Wikipedia page is a moron. I have been a Mormon my whole life. I have lots of Mormon relatives. The idea of Kolob means nothing to us and other members of the Church. Yes, Kolob is supposed to be near God, but Joseph Smith's description of where God lives does not make it sound like a planet. Also, WIKIPEDIA??? For MORMONS? Yeah, that's bound to be objective. STUPID choice of references.
namordecai 4 years ago
Why does it matter what you believe? Because religious people make major life and political decisions based on delusional beliefs that affect all of us. And teaching children to be similarly deluded is a form of child abuse. Stunting their minds permanently, filling them with irrational fears, and setting them up to be manipulated by church leaders, instead of thinking for themselves.
mia67n 4 years ago
And yet, strangely enough, Mormons are typically happier than other people, ESPECIALLY Atheists, despite all their "irrational fears" and whatever delusions YOU are having about US. Atheist suicide rates are higher than the average divorcee. Also, from my experience, Mormons do not go around trying to scare ANYONE, much less children. Also, Church leaders only "manipulate" people into being better Christians. Isn't that terrible to have people filled with peace and love?
namordecai 4 years ago
mormons, that explains everything. What can you say about a religion that claims all dark skinned people are those that wouldn't side with jesus or satan eh?
Polybun 4 years ago
All religions have positive and negative (dark) aspects to them. I'm not religious and do agree that the Mormon's have a very strange and at times delusional dogma. Generally people are raised in the Mormon church and know no other belief system. However, they're still people and all people suffer.
SoHereIAm3 4 years ago
Yea, and some people completly deserve their suffering. These people, they deserve it. Their actions caused it, their bullshit relegion, the constant pressure to live up to that. Heh, watching these people suffer could not be more pleasurable.
Polybun 4 years ago
@Polybun For you to say something so cruel and heartless is truly unbelievable! "Watching these people suffer could not be more pleasurable"? Are you for real? I know plenty of people who aren't mormon's or have 9 kids, who suffer with mental illness.
TheCelesteStarr 2 days ago
@Polybun You don't understand her struggles or anything that she has faced in her life regardless of religion or anything. It wasn't " the pressure" that made her suicide. Please do yourself a favour and get informed without the prejudice. By the way, I'm this beautiful woman's daughter. I didn't do anything to "deserve suffering".
TheCelesteStarr 2 days ago
Parley Pratt said that. That's not the whole church. Should I take random quotes from people who also share your beliefs and blame you and everyone in your belief system for it?
namordecai 4 years ago
@Polybun So only Mormon's Suicide eh?? Check your facts and stop with the prejudice comments!
TheCelesteStarr 2 days ago
