  • @mowriboi Also the same engine

  • the v35 and the r35....similar except the v35 shares the same chassis as a 350z.....dont believe me?? look it up

  • The GTR is much more bigger and alot more wider I have seen it

  • There is no comparison.

  • what the hell is that blue car i thought it was an Infinity gtr r34 and 5 are the best

  • @BTGpbk In japan the Infiniti g35 is sold as the nissan skyline 350gt. same car, just differenct badges

  • @XxSmileyOfDeathxX and it's lighter with more tq!

  • i want all 3, god damn

  • i always wanted to see a g37 side by side to a gtr. hope you can make that happen.

  • almost same rims just spokes fater at the end

  • OMFG ORGASM

  • TT V35 smacks R35 nuff said.

R34 sounds nice and does work and all, but its too overrated, Paul Walker killed that car.

  • @xTcInfiniti You're a fucking idiot. nuff said

  • at 0:49, you can hear the door creek when that dude is entering the white skyline lol

  • the white one beside the R35 GT-R.. is that a Skyline BNR34 GT-R??

definitely the most beautiful in the GT-R family..

  • I wonder if its possible to do a GTR front end conversion on the v35.

  • @intheshitter lol why would u do that

  • @SwindleCon Dunno, they just to so similar in the ass end department so maybe its possible. If I had V35 i'd seriously consider it.

  • @intheshitter woops i read ur comment backwards lol thats true though and i believe someone has already done that although it looks terrible

  • @intheshitter there are kits for the conversion. It doesn't look good at all IMO.

  • the GTR looks like a night

the 350gt looks like the princess

but the R34 is still the king

  • the 4.5 liter setup would hang with that gtr =]. Mr Nagata. has a HKS GT2835 twin turbo with a 6-speed manual Getrag unit from a JZA80, fitted to the car along with an ORC triple plate clutch and 2-way LSD. He managed to hit a maximum of 341 km/h, so it's a good thing massive Brembo 8-pot calipers were fitted to slow the car down!

  • I GOT THE SAME CAR THE SAME BLUE BUT IS MT INFINITY

  • Infinitis are slow. pfft their luxury not performance, it'd take alot of mods to make it fast. thats why Infiniti is known for luxury and the skyline is perfromance they belong in 2 different categorys

  • that v35 with a turbo = dominate skyline.

  • i like the 350gt. because i was'nt badged as a gay infiniti

  • il have the vl calais

  • id be interested in seeing how a V35 350GT with a twin screw supercharger goes up against a R35, i wonder how much of a difference it would make

  • @bladedush the R35 would still kill it!

  • @maximus007gtr

hah but the second right before the R35 takes off when the V35 driver thinks he might have a chance would be hilarious

  • @bladedush lol - that would have to be a stupid V35 driver :P

  • @maximus007gtr You kids are fucking idiots. Now dont get me wrong, I LOOOOVE the GTR, but in a quarter mile, a twin supercharged G would win. A T/S G would put out over 500hp to the wheels easily.

  • damnnnnnnnnnnnn i love that r34.....id go for that car over those two anyday...

  • R34 VS R35 VS 350GT? WOW COOL :)

  • which means your point is.........irrelevant

  • @xxFairladyZxx The only irrelevant thing here is you bringing this up on an Australian video visually comparing my Japanese import Nissan Skyline 350GT with a Japanese import GT-R.

  • @maximus007gtr AND? its my fucking opinion. I don't think they look similar, you can have your own opinion, as stupid as I think it may be. I think your feelings are hurt, cuz you can't afford a GTR

  • @xxFairladyZxx You are entitled to your opinion about the GTR and V35 - that has not been what this "discussion" was about.

I forgot your lesson that you should never let a fact get in the way of a good opinion.

  • @maximus007gtr What has the "discussion been about"? Which "fact" am I ignoring, and what am I basing my opinion on, if not fact? As far as semantics, and insults: you seem to do alot of whining about things that you have offended you in some way, or another. Personally, I think you just argue, and argue, and argue, until the other person just doesn't feel its important enough. You don't even know what you are arguing about. You just want to complain.

  • I love em....I have G35...pearl white....it is what it is....it's fun to drive. It's not the fastest car but it's fast and fun to drive man!

  • We are talking USDM. You cannot go to any dealership in the usa and ask for & get a Nissan Skyline 350gt, or for that matter any Fairlady Z. They simply are not called by that designation in the states. The dealer wont know what your talking about. You can go on all day and nite, like you have, or just admit that that was what the original point was, before you jumped in

  • @xxFairladyZxx You are absolutely right; you can't walk into a dealership and purchase a vehicle called a "Skyline" or "Fairlady Z" in the USA. It doesn't, however, change the fact that car is exactly the same.

If you buy the objects called "pants" in the USA, or "trousers" in the UK, does it mean they are different things? Would you say there were never any "trousers" imported to the USA?

Is my "mobile" phone different to your "cell" phone?

  • @maximus007gtr The reason you lose here is exactly what you pointed out the face that "trousers" and "mobile phones" are objects. Not branded items.

If there existed a brand of pants, named "trousers", and the brand of aforementioned pants was exclusively sold, under that brand name, in Britain......then yes you could say you would be unable to purchase a pair of "trousers" in the US, despite their simply being pants. Just like the G35 is simply a car, when you take the BRAND badges off of it.

  • @xxFairladyZxx So your argument is "call something a different name and it suddenly becomes a completely different object".

The logic in that argument is completely absurd.

If Nissan Japan found a manufacturing fault with the V35 Skyline, would they say "oh well, it doesn't affect the Infiniti G35 because we call it something different"?

  • @maximus007gtr No, my argument is that when the manufacturer of a branded item designates the item to be sold under one name in one market, and a different name in another, you cannot call them the same thing. Yes physically, they are near to identical. That is not the point of contention however. The thing you are arguing is that if something has 2 or more different names then it is the same, I agree, only to the extent of OBJECTS, and NOT branded ITEMS.

  • @maximus007gtr That also depends. If we are speaking about LHD vs RHD. Then yes, the gearbox has to be different, we said the steering column, the clutch pedal, interaction with the shift linkage, the brake lines, power steering lines (and reservoir) The engineering is manipulated a bit. Wiring will be slightly different, the on dash controls will be located in different areas. Even exhaust channeling, in some cases, is different.

  • @xxFairladyZxx "Just like the G35 is simply a car, when you take the BRAND badges off of it."

If you were to line up a Skyline 350GT and an Infitniti G35 and take the badges off, would they be different cars (other than the RHD/LHD steering)?

No - they are the SAME car. It's not like you are comparing removing the badges on a Ford Mustang and a Dodge Viper.

  • @maximus007gtr omg man, RHD, LHD----steering column is in a different place. They are not exactly the same car dude. way to admit you were wrong, but your such a knowitall that I'm sure you can't possibly bring yourself to do so. Argument over

  • @xxFairladyZxx You are right: they are not "exactly" the same if the steering column is what you use to determine whether a vehicle is the same. Next you will tell us that theLHD/RHD VW Golf, Ford Mondeo, Toyota Corolla, Lamborghini Gallardo (and every other vehicle in the entire world that is manufactured in LHD/RHD configuration and sold in multiple markets) are different too.

Nice to see you have resorted to semantics and insults, the refuge of those who have no other leg to stand upon.

  • If by "resemblance" you mean totally different. I am sick of hearing about what they call it in Japan. They also call the Maxima an A32 Cefiro in Japan. Does that mean I can walk around saying I dive an A32? Or a cefiro? no, cuz that is not what it is. G35's are classy, clean cars. R35's are mighty, domineering cars. Leave well enough alone

  • @xxFairladyZxx Not sure what upset you so much? Especially interesting considering you are in the USA and call yourself "Fairlady Z" when you could only possibly own a 350Z etc.

It is quite clear that GTR and G35 share common DNA, albeit in a considerably modified form. In fact, the V35 model (G35/Skyline) was used as the basis for the test mule during GTR's development.

Similarly, "A32" is the model designation, Maxima/Cefiro the local brand name, but both exactly the same car. Deal with it.

  • @maximus007gtr All the douchebags that claim their G35 is a GTR cuz it has a rediculous bodykit. And BTW the original fairladyz was the 300zx twin turbo, (best Z ever made) A32 is the chassis code, and it is not called a maxima in japan. They may have similar features, but in a very limited manner. Whats interesting is you call yourself "maximus007gtr" The fact remains, they are totally different cars, and just because they call it a 350gt skyline in japan doesn't mean its a GTR

  • @xxFairladyZxx Only the "douchebags" statement is accurate. The rest is factually incorrect, and I will address this for the audience:

    - The original Fairlady Z was the 1969 S30 (which had a version sold in the US as 240Z). The name has been used on every Z car since.

    - A32 Maxima and Cefiro are exactly the same vehicle, just different name.

    - I NEVER said that the GTR and 350GT are the same car; I am merely suggesting a visual similarity.

I suggest you spend more time reading accurately.

  • @maximus007gtr I suggest you spend less time being a fag......There was never a fairladyz sold in the US anyway. Your visual similarity is about as close as a 4th gen max is to an R34. They may be slightly similar, but not enough to put a gay conversion bodykit, and GTR badges on it. 1969 240z? never seen one, but I'm sure your source (wikipedia) is right.

  • @xxFairladyZxx You are one funny troll! Rather than acknowledging any of your many factual errors, you continue to misread and miscomprehend the things I write, raise things which are completely irrelevant, then resort to name calling. Touche - I can't compete with that! Hilarious!

I hope everyone else who reads this comment exchange gets as much pleasure from it as I did.

  • @maximus007gtr hahaha, yes I am a troll, hahahaahaha, and by "many factual errors" You mean one....allegedly. But in between your internet research binging, I hope you will realize that you are wrong about a G35 looking like a GTR. But it is an opinion so, I'm pretty sure you're the one misinterpreting what i write. But, it has been fun and, since we both realize you lose, "MAXIM(a)us007GTR" I won't ask for an explanation of the name

  • "There was never a fairladyz sold in the US anyway." - the exact same vehicle known as "Fairlady Z" in was sold in the USA as the 240Z, 260Z, 280Z, 300ZX, 350Z, 370Z etc! Don't blame internet research for being correct, unless you have a source otherwise.

    Just keep digging that hole.

  • @maximus007gtr Digging the hole? The one factual inaccuracy? I still will say no "Fairlady" Z'32's were brought to america.

None had a Fairlady badge. Just a "twin turbo" badge where the fairlady would have been

and by your own admission 6 (spanning 50 years) Z's were sold under the name fairlady.....then to say the 'exact same vehicle was sold under that name'. they are different cars, but I'm sure your factual error was just a mistake right?

  • @maximus007gtr And if by "completely irrelevant" you are referring my original point in my first post, that you decided to comment on........then yes, its completely irrelevant

  • @xxFairladyZxx "They also call the Maxima an A32 Cefiro in Japan." - irrelevant (that is comparing the same model when this video looks at two distinct vehicles for different vehicles)

"All the douchebags that claim their G35 is a GTR cuz it has a rediculous bodykit." - irrelevant (who said that here?)

" just because they call it a 350gt skyline in japan doesn't mean its a GTR" - irrelevant (who said that here?)

  • I used to drive an Athens Blue G35 like this one. It was repoed. But anyway, Both of these cars are so beautiful. The 350z is also beautiful. Japanese cars are the best.

  • Wow awesome cars.

I kinda think the 350GT look kinda like infiniti for some reason :D

  • @Madguy132 They are exactly the same car. Nissan manufactures the Skyline but markets it as Infiniti in geographical markets other than Japan.

  • @maximus007gtr :O thx for the info xD

  • @maximus007gtr Its only called Infinity in the US, its Nissan everywhere else.

  • @andydale78 Sorry Andy, you are incorrect. See Infiniti Russia or UK for examples.

This vehicle is only known as a "Skyline" in its native Japan.

  • @maximus007gtr You are correct, I misread your comment.

  • if only g35s had gtr looking tails :/

  • Whats up with the Black lights on the 34?

  • thats at sandown isnt it?

  • @emsta2003 Sure is.

  • so hott!!!! r34 v35 gtr

  • just seeing this vid makes me proud to be a G owner, GT-R is next.....

  • wow i thought the g35 had a close resemblance to the 350z.... u never relly think that the GTR would look more like the g 35 until there side by side

  • The R36 GTR is a direct (albeit heavily modified) descendant of the V35 series of Skyline (Infiniti G35). The early GTR prototypes were actually running in V35 shells.

  • those R35 brakes look pretty used lol.

  • id take the r34

  • @havikjason i use to own that R34 gtt, was an amazing machine, i miss it!

  • @havikjason You'd take the kind of rice over a supercar? Gee, that says a lot.

  • @comgeturs id take the r34 too.

  • huge fan of the g35.. hopefully by summer 210.. ill own one.. love your colour.

  • lol the GTR looks like the V35 on steroids.

  • i was in the red carbon S14 Topstage, u coming on august 8th calder?

  • we were in the same track day bro,

  • Nice - which car were you in?
