you guys are weird. Admiring one type of cars does not mean that you must hate the other ones. Subaru is my top brand ever and along with it sits Chevrolet. I love those beasty little 2 liter engines that give you maximum performance on track or in every day conditions, and I absolutely love the American V8's for the roar and raw power they give me. A true car enthusiast will appreciate any car. ;)
actually they have the rumble because the headers are uneven lengths for each side of the engine. If you put equal length headers on the rumble disappears. thus why not many people upgrade them. not worth the small amount of torque gained anyway.
