also when I ctrl+h it doesnt say add new empty, it says add new empty to selected, and the new empty object gets stuck to the corner and seems to make the vine "disappear" off the curve.

you start to get very unclear in the middle of the tutorial, like the shift-h part being ctrl-h and such.

when i press shit H to do add the empty to the curve it just makes the line go weird. and why do you hide your interface half way through! no good.

modify the shape, add a clouds texture and a blend texture set to alpha with alpha value set to 0 and ray transparency, you have light streaks!

Did you know when I add the new empty it wasn't shift f if was ctrl h!!!

Just one question. My vine is working, it's growing and shrinking and so fourth. When it is in it's "ungrown" state, when it's just a little lump at the bottom, you can still see the rest of it. It's like a ultra thin line where the curve is. How do I get rid of this?

No offense but you could be a little more helpful. Like some of the things you do you could tell how you did them or what button to hold while doing it, etc...

you can also move around by pressing the middle mousebutton and moving the mouse. if you don't have a mmb you can also change this setup at the user preferences

awesome tut man. um is it possilbe just to get a growing pipe or kabel like ju just dig with the vine. i have been tryng to do it but i have not been working for blender so long, so it kinda difficult. :P ur tutorials are great realy helps out. thx

Hey I did everthing I did BUT! When I paste my name in the taperOB: Nothing Happen! I drag my Empty and seems not to be connected to the Taper! Is there a way to fix this!?

For awhile there I was having problems having the vine grow. I deleted the second curve and the empty and started over again. Second time I did it...when I would move the empty the entire second curve would move with it. Not sure what I did so I deleted them again and re-added the curve and empty. Somehow I got it to finally work! Thanks for this video!
