@mega1megaman1freak I would have said no. But then around the minute mark, that sliding bass and bubbly lead, it does sound like something Tim would do hahaha
@kdreamland I was dissapointed with the Sega Game Gear/Master System version... sure, it had good graphics but as you said, the music was just horrible.
For a movie game made by LJN... this one was actually not bad. I mean it had it's weird quirks, but what NES game didn't? Didn't have the Terminator theme, but what music there was seemed to fit. Least I thought so.
Wow, I haven't heard this music since I rented this game when it first came out from Albertsons video rental when I was a kid. Pretty challenging game too from what I remember. Back when you had to really earn the ending to a game, even if it amounted to nothing more than some lame text and thats it. Ah, the original Achievements!!
Actually, AVGN didn't say that it was a bad NES game. He says that it basically hits the hit key scenes from the movie, but they left out the Terminator theme.

I always thought that the soundtrack was composed by Terminators.

@gjeldrez 2 disagree.

It's crazy to think the exact same game (as Terminator 2 Judgement Day) came out on the master system. And somehow had much worse music.
Guess Nintendo just rocks...

Even if it was made by LJN, the game is still 'descent' and the music is good.

Is Tim Follin the composer for this game? Because it sounds like Solstice, Silver Surfer, or Treasure Master.
Quikquik98 1 year ago
I think it was Tim Follin & Geoff Follin that have composed music for this game
AScapeRunePlaya 1 year ago
@AScapeRunePlaya Correction: This game was developed by Software Creations. So yes, it was the Follin brothers who composed the music for the game.

I actually like Terminator 2 for the NES, despite what the AVGN said, and you are right the music is really good.
coruscant100 2 years ago 12
Reminds me of Turok on the GB for some reason, though...
AScapeRunePlaya 2 years ago
Are you going to post the rest of the game's music? Also do you think you could upload the music for the terminator on the snes.
coruscant100 2 years ago
Maybe for the NES, if I feel like it (and hoping it does not skip, and plus, the first level's music is the only good one IMO)
for the SNES, I doubt it.
AScapeRunePlaya 2 years ago
In case you were wondering, I was referring to the one based on the first movie.
coruscant100 2 years ago
I still doubt it dude.
