  • I can't complain about Sky and ITV, as the must bow to popular appeal. Popular appeal, of course, means England's 50 million, to Scotland's 5 million (a fact whereby Scottish interests will always come second in the UK). The BBC, however, is ignoring the governing party in a Scottish Parliament, to advertise three English parties in Scotland. Why should Scottish voters, being treated as second class citizens (sorry, subjects), be made to pay their licence fees?

  • Already, regarding the BBC, Scotland pays 8% (commensurate to its population size), yet receives only 4% network representation.

These debates are nothing more than a disgraceful abuse of the political landscape in Scotland.

  • All three main parties have the same ideals and values and the party system and 'parliamentary democracy' will not put things right in Britain

  • BNP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bring it on!

  • Britain's three major parties? Surely England's three major parties.

  • These TV debates are pointless & show just how crooked these idiots are. Surely if you care about the country & the public.....you would want to talk directly to them. The fact that they will not disgusts me. This shows how much the parties dont care about voters...just their votes!!!

Hope they all burn in hell.

  • @SupaSix1 Couldnt agree with you more.

  • If the UK is a democracy......I want an extra box available to select on the ballot papers

    ...........NONE OF THE ABOVE!!!!!

  • They say that having a TV debate wil bring out the voters to ellect.

    -NO NO NO!!!!!

The only way to get the voters to the polling stations is to get rid of the lot of these crooks....& get some decent candidates in. Not one these parties are fit to run the country!!! Politicians should be made up of real people, not these out-of-touch privaledged toffs who have no clue as to what its like living in the real world. They are all useless crooks who should be thrown out.

  • It will be the same s*** different day!The audience will be selected, as will the questions and at no time can the person asking disagree with the answer. The only thing any of these three are likely to change is their underpants.

Anyone here who believes lesser parties should be involved has my complete agreement, but they don't really care what we think, only the nucleus of die hard voters who never change. That still stands for a huge section of society that can only be stopped with the same.

  • gordon does nothing without an auto cue. he is taking a risk......unles they know the questions in advance...surely not!!!! i will watch this just to see the behaviour of the main men.

  • Yippee.

  • no audience interaction! I'd bleach their ears in three minutes flat!

  • Start ringing the TV stations to lobby for UKIP involvement. The fact that they are saying the THREE main political parties when UKIP came second in June 2009. Get calling and writing letter, sending e-mails. Go on Nigel and Lord Pearson!

  • @sinclair61 Completely agree. Scotland and Wales are being governed at the moment by the SNP and Plaid with Labour respectively, and UKIP and the Greens also gain a lot of votes nationally. There's no good reason not to include minor parties if we really believe that the UK is a fair, multi-party democracy.

  • place your bets on how many times the word "GLOBAL" will be said!

  • UKIP should be there also - they are no longer (thanks to Nigel Farage) a 'fringe' party.

Nigel's contributions will be the only way we'll get to see their true colours . . . bet he would make old Gordy Broon lose his rag more than once!!! ha ha ha, I'd pay good money to witness that!

  • 3 complete non-events.

  • Lovely, a debate between 3 parties all of which are pro EU, pro immigration, pro Afghan war, pro global warming, pro multicultural.

  • I want a police state debate, and how the police have turned into a quasi-SS, instead of protecting the public from criminals, the UK police are institutionally corrupt.

  • @liarpoliticians

    Well said sir.

  • this is not a democracy this is a nation getting hijacked by the so called ruling classes with the main stream media as co-conspirators, and the stupid general public will fall into line as usual and say nothing. we have to accept the bad guys have won.

  • Hmmm UKIP came 2nd......

These 3 partys are the same, however i want Tories over Labour.. And there should be an immigrantion debate.
