i think that this scene was taken out because you cant find any of your case solving friends on rainy days and this scene can only work on a rainy day. this could keep you from completling naoto's social link if you could only do that event on a rainy day.

@10zaq10returns The reasoning's incorrect, Naoto you can interact with on rainy days. However, whether or not the weather is the actual trigger or this truly has been removed from the US version is something I've regrettably been unable to confirm on my own as of yet. However, I hope to confirm that for myself and return soon - my third playthrough is approaching Naoto's social link.

They may have left it out by accident. Apparently they didn't use a "master book" to track all of the parts of P4, because they knew from P3 what they wanted... but then they obviously forgot a few details, and regretted not going that from the start.

@BlackScream77 You can't anymore, they took all that out of the US release, if it's still in the Japanese version is unknown. You could in P3, just not this one.
