I had 17" porcelain tile put down only 6 months ago and I have 9 tiles with cracks on the edges. The tiles are on a concreate slab and the house is level and 30 yrs old. I think there are voids under them and the workmanship was not good. What could be the reason?
dark grout is not a solution for a white bath tile.. to me the answer is , if you choose a white beautiful floor tile.. with white grout..let they know..will take TLC all the time..
The subject is how to prevent grout from staining? This discussion wanders away from it. Here are your options:
- Seal it. Then seal it again every couple years, minimum.
- Use an epoxy grout, such as Spectra Lock. It never needs sealing and will not stain.
These are your only two options... the rest is fluff.
