what the fuck is wrong with those who threw the bars at people?? could have handed them normally. The guy on the car told an old lady to go behind and didn't give nth(:58-1:04). She looked like 70. Wouldn't it be easier if they had given them what they needed? There were stories about tent-full of international aids that were stored and never distributed to the public then. Is this the way they distribute food to people? wear da shoes of people who were actually facing the difficulty for once.
I have seen the same reaction from children when I did my tour in Afghanistan. This video reminds me of a parade where people throw candy to the children. The really sad thing is that the older kids and some adults will steal the food from the younger kids. This is why we were not allowed to throw "gifts" to the population, ie. water/food. Not only would it create a security risk against ourselves, it also creates more problems than does good. Poverty is the same anywhere you travel.
the scene's so devastating. hordes of ppl running down a street chasing a quickly evading truck for..energy bars??? we would of been able to help all these countries in need with billions and billions of dollars poured into the war every day, but instead, we have a democracy that's still afar in mideast and a gas price record that's being refreshed almost everyday back home.
It is so freaking sad and the world can't do anything about it. And we can't demand war on burma either because we have this excuse that we are scare of china. China has it's own problem to be dealing with burma. I say we send some of our special ops people out to burma and burma won't put up much of a fight because they've lack training. It is always up to america to save the world. I wish some of these other countries would step up to the plate and start saving the world.
