The other day, my pastor told me that Daloris, a woman who had been a part of our church for a long time now, won her fight with breast cancer. he kept talking.... "she died yesterday and went to heaven. Going to heaven eithor way is a win..." It made me stop and think- think how god saves our lives... but also sometimes he takes our lives- because then we will be in a better place. I know suicide isn't the answer to issues: but i want to be in that better place.

I'm walking down this path towards God again since I had lost my way yet once again.. This song is definitely one of my favorite praise songs, ever. I do things to try to make Him love me more because I always feel like I'm not good enough - and I think that's the case with many people. We sang this song at our New Year's service last night and I started crying without realizing what I was doing. I finally realized that He will always love me no matter what. I can't do anything to make Him love me more or less.
I love this song. it was played at FLY, Free Lutheran Youth Retreat, and i had a life changing experience there, even though to others it would seem pointless. It really opened my eyes, and I even asked for a new bible for christmas. And I got it, then took it to church to show proudly, glad to prove that God meant so much that I would choose something that linked me to him for his son's birthday. My eight year old sister got baptized this past Sunday, and saved about two weeks ago. It thrills me to see how God is already working through her, and I'm excited to watch her continue to grow in the Lord as she gets older and grows even closer to Him.

This song is definitely one of my favorite praise songs, ever. I do things to try to make Him love me more because I always feel like I'm not good enough - and I think that's the case with many people. We sang this song at our New Year's service last night and I started crying without realizing what I was doing. I finally realized that He will always love me no matter what. I love this song. it was played at FLY, Free Lutheran Youth Retreat, and i had a life changing experience there, even though to others it would seem pointless. It really opened my eyes, and I even asked for a new bible for christmas. And I got it, then took it to church to show proudly, glad to prove that God meant so much that I would choose something that linked me to him for his son's birthday. Last Friday I was at a lock in at my church. I was not worshipping at all cuz I just didnt know if I believe in him. This song came on and in the middle I was balling my eyes out. I didn't even know why I was crying. One of the leaders came up to me and she started praying for me. I asked her why I was crying and she said "The holy spirit is coming for you." I will never forget that moment. Now I am making an effort cuz I want him really bad.
