@baphomet58 what are u talkin about Sam consistantly has awsome fights sure he hasnt finished anybody in the ufc but for 1 hes a lightweight (most of them guys dont have that power at the low weight classes) and 2 is (its way harder to finish guys in the ufc because yer not gonna be fighting bums

his record is 16-6-1

out of his wins 50% are by ko or tko

1 by sub

and the other 8 are decisions

do a little research before talkin smack at least hes got the balls to go fight like that

@199jl Sorry I innately critique sometimes, but being a lighter weight is NO excuse, Bj, Maynard, Lil Evil, Gomi, and think about the even LIGHTER classes, Jose aldo, lenard garcia, mike brown, manny gamburyan, Cali Kid, etc. The list goes on and on.

But yea agreed he's in a HIGH caliber of fighters, being in the UFC.

@buktomsin yeah but fighters at that weight with that type of power are much harder to find. its much easyer at a higher weight because of the difference in body mass sure there are some guys in the lower divisions with it but the vast majority dont thats why lighter fighters usually get a lot more fight and sub of the night honours by the UFC. the best way to show that is by looking at fighters 170 and above and compare to the guys below there is a big difference in the KO/TKO rates

@199jl That statistic has no spine, It's really simple, if they can punch with atleast 100lbs. of force, you can knock ANYONE out. It does occur more often seeing that a shane carwin jab maybe in equivalence to a bantumweight straight right, but don't over exaggerate. Accuracy makes the difference much more though.

There's no need for an explanation just a logical analysis, I discern on average they have more KO's, another thing to think about is; There's a million fighters in the lightweight roster, where as the Heavyweight, highly lacks. Also HW doesn't make sense, 265 vs 225, that's ridiculous.

@buktomsin ur right hw dosent make sense in the fact that the division is so strung out ov 60lbs and lots of them that cut from as high as 300lb. next ur sittin in front of a keyboard u talkin shit only makes YOU look like a bitch. and power is calculated as mass x accelerarion if you have more mass ur gonna have more power and u really dont need alot to ko somebody so having excessive size is an advantage and is why more ko's and tko's happen in heavyer weight classes.
