I totally don't like the way Elena behaves with Damon. He risked his life only to let you talk with your BF, damn! Could you be a little bit more grateful instead of saying "just drive", and that's all?

And that's love.. imagine how much it had hurt him saying those stuff to the person he loves, but he had put her own safety before his happiness. However, as you can see her plan failed. She already stabbed him in 1x19 when he couldn't control his thirst for blood but that time she was successful so I guess she assumed she can do the same this time as well.

Stefan will never compel Elena under any circumstances. And as heartbreaking as this scene was, I loved it if that makes sense. Stefan still loves her. They will be together again.

Eventually they will find their way back together, probably not anything soon. Damon and Elena is inevitable, excited Katherine is back and following Stefan. When he closed his eyes after she hugged him, you could see how much it hurts him being away from her.. but to hold her in his arms? He would never want to let go, and he knew he can't have that. I think most of the delena fans are becoming pretty clever by saying that stefan have rebecca now its good that he is over elena ( So that she can be with damon). But Stefan will always love Elena no matter what. Stelena is not going to end. Team Stelena :)

@dvlite123 Why would he do that? He loves Elena,and I think a part of him still believes he can come back to Mystic Falls even though he says he never will.He needed to say that to Elena so she can stop tracking him or end up dead.If Stefan compelled her,he'd be hurt way worse than he is now when he said that to her.I know Elena's heartbroken but at least he got through to her.
This scene broke my heart, but Elena needed to hear it. He was harsh, but he saw that's the only way to make her go home. I'm a SE fan, and always will be, but Elena needs to be safe. Because Stefan will come home, and his home is Elena. If she keeps putting herself in danger, he'll have no home to return to. Sometimes the best thing you can do for the person you love is to walk away from them.. and Stefan had strength to do it. But he'll never stop protecting and loving Elena.

@Mo0nshiver my prediction is some time later,Stefan will finally quit being Klaus' sidekick and come home and one of two things will happen.either he'll come home seeing Elena has moved on to Damon or they'll do what happen to Lois & Clark in season 8 of Smallville where it looks like that's about to happen only for her to find out Stefan is back in town and forget about Damon leaving heart broken like Clark did to Lois when he found out Lana came back.we'll just have to wait & see
