  • What is a good resource for setting up owl boxes? Not just barn owl boxes (I see a lot of those) but boxes for other species of owl, like this barred owl.

  • Yes this was about a month after hatching. The adults have been scoping out the box already. it looks like they have big plans for January.

  • Actually, I heard Barred owls are local! They tend to use the same nest/tree cavity year after year.
