1.New:better graphics OLD:shetty old pixels

2.New: nice intros OLD:whats an intro?

3.New:short gameplay and stupid storyline for kids 8 and below OLD:loved by everyone challenging and longer. i dont care bout the new games they suk compared to this 1ns. only a fker could pass this now a 5 year old goes and says mommy i passed mario... I want this games bak-thats 1 of the reasons i bought a 3ds- UPDATE IN COUPLE OF HOURZ

at 2:16 in the video, you can go down the pipe. i usually trip the p-switch and go down the pipe first before collecting the 1-up. The way you can use the p-switch again.

@TVHarman You clearly dont know the game at all. The first flue was collected by going back a few steps and going BEHIND THE END OF THE LEVEL. If you opened up your eyes you would see at 4:23 I went behind the end of the level. And dont you dare say I can make a better walkthrough. Why cant you just be happy with what you got.

This game is so beloved, and worthy of it too, that the music is a glorious sound, that brings nolstagia and pure joy. I don't think there is anyone who can say different. (I wasn't even born when it came out and even I've played and throughly enjoyed this masterpeice)

@x41000 This is the SNES version, which had 16 bit graphics. The one on the VC is the NES version which had 8 bit graphics.

DANG! There's a massive amount of secrets included in this game that I never even knew about! I just know that I'm going to be playing this game almost all day after learning about all the kind of secrets that you can discover in this game. Are you sure that you didn't use cheats to unlock most of these secrets?

I have a question though, how do you get past the castle you reach just before getting to level 5 of world 1? It's impossible to get through!

LOL No i didnt use cheats and the way I got past the first castle was that..

-At 6:50 I got a leaf

-Then you run from the end of the room, to build up enough power

-Then keep flying up while pushing right hugging the wall

Then there you run across and push up

There u go you the next flute
