  • @Theclinsh I'm sorry :(

  • Really great video series I love your modo working method, but I had a question. I've never been able to really get symmetry to work after welding both halves together. Do you model at the world center or something? (I've been modeling kind of like out in space instead of modeling on the world center [right where the X axis is] and I've been wondering if that was what screwed up my symmetry, but I've never been real clear about how exactly modo determines a symmetrical center to begin with.

  • @Imhotep397 Are you talking about reimporting it into modo for a retop specifically? Sometimes zbrush will get a little funky with the symmetry in comparison to modo after importing from zbrush. But to answer your questions without this information yes I use world center to activate the symmetry in modo. I am not aware of any method that allows you to offset the symmetry. I really want a radial symmetry tool in modo but here's to dreaming.

  • where did u get the reference pic

  • @TRRBS I illustrated it in photoshop.

  • Amazing, good job on the recording and the modeling.

  • Great video! Very inspiring and useful. I love videos like this that can be applied to any modeling software.
