@Elite59 I think Steve was too talented to be second fiddle in Skynyrd for very long but that would always have been Ronnie's band. I think Steve would have eventually struck out on his own. What if Steve Gaines and Stevie Ray Vaughn had found each other at that point in their careers?
@steakhousemafia but the point is that guitar was used to play heavy metal by dimebag darrell. last time i checked, lynard skynard wasnt any sort of metal.
