What are you talking about? If when you say "fat" you mean thick then I agree. But Bull terriers are solid naturally. They are sturdy dogs. Of course their are fat bullies out there, but being "fat" doesn't run through their blood or result from overbreeding. It's funny that you would say Bull Terriers are overbred when they are the furthest thing from that.

Just watched your video and I can see what you're saying about how they have changed. But the original Bull Terrier you're referring to existed in the 1930's and 1940's. They were intentionally bred for the characteristics they have now. They aren't "fat" as a result of "overbreeding."

I think these ARE the 'miniature' english bull terriers. I have one of these fantastic dogs - in fact he's curled at my feet as I write this. The standard breed grow to 24" at the shoulder and weigh up to 6+ stone. The miniatures (a recognised breed) grow to 16"/17" by comparison and weigh a lot less - an advantage when they try and sit on your lap! Just the best dogs - complete clowns ..

nice dog, on the fat side (sorry to say it) they should be toned to a T and they should pull like crazy showingt their power. its easy to see these are show dogs, i dont think these dogs can outrun a pig let alone humans lol these are truly pig dogs plump and all. my friend has a white and black BT and he is one stocky dog, almost looks like a pit if it wasnt for its head.

first off fatside?, Toned to a T? These are NOT stratford bull terrier. yes they are more tubeular, they are supposted to be like this. And they are not to look like a dog that goes lifting everyday, these guys are POWER lifters and dont care about being tone. Go serach for "RUFUS bull terrier" 2006 westminster best in show, that is what they look like. And as for pulling, you dont want them to pull like crazy in a ring. If the judge has you bring them up to spar YES they should.
