Flip's probably the first frog to have an interspecies relationship. Way before Kermit the Frog who got Miss Piggy, a female pig. Flip did started with female frog, then with a female cat, then with a human girl.

I'm planning on doing cartoon gags like these rubber hose and everything, just lack a little inspiration LOL! I'm watching a series of 30's cartoons to get inspiration but majority of them make no sense, I guess that's where the humor comes from.

Part of me can't help but wonder if the single line of shaving cream beneath the dog's left eye at 6:00 might be a subtle allusion to the eye cutting scene from "Un Chien Andalou"

You can almost picture real people being like this in the olden days. Courting a girl ,everyone sharing in on the music for free. Very nice, except for reality when the cops pull up. I kinda think this is close to how it really was in the 1930's . At least on a good day.
