  • Way to be a horrible person, really. These kids have been awaiting this day for four years and you seek to screw it up! I go to Gonzaga and am proud of it, and let me tell you, if you were show up to my graduation, there would be more than a few "childish chants" coming from me.

  • Wow it cut off my comment

  • Look I don't go to gonzaga, I go to the heights. I think it should be said that sr. Keehan is OBJECTIVELY portraying heresy, but SUBJECTIVELY we can't say she's going to he'll or anything. Before I get a ton of shit from gonzaga kids: it was planned my whole life that i would go there. I'm from a father who went to Canisius, and up the line from there other Jesuit schools. My great great great grandfather was raised by Jesuits, so things like this cut off my going there. Ita upsetting for thing

  • God bless these few but faithful standing up for the truth.

  • inappropriate time and place for such protests

  • you pricks have no class

  • The travesty is the so-called faithful catholics, faithful to their limited view. Are they feeding the hungry, clothing the poor?

  • THE PROTESTERS DIDN'T INCLUDE THE FACT THAT ONE OF THEM INVADED THE CHURCH AS A "GUEST" THEN STARTED SHOUTING AND HAD TO BE REMOVED AS WELL AS SEVERAL FROM THE BACK. THEY PROFESS TO BE STANDING UP FOR INNOCENT LIVES LOST BUT TRIED TO RUIN THE DAY FOR 229 INNOCENT YOUNG MEN. FOR SHAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Protestors need to find something productive to do. What did you guys accomplish at the end of the day? Nothing.

    I love JAH and GANJAS!

  • The Health Care Bill was terrible legislation from the beginning. Who cares if it supports abortion clinics at all, the real issue with it is that it violates several parts of our constitution. Never has an American citizen been forced to buy any good or service. Cuccinelli, a Gonzaga graduate I might add, is right about its unconstitutionality, and Virginia has the strongest case against it. So let's just let the Supreme Court settle whether this hedge issue is even legal.

  • @xaxion2104 THAT'S A GREAT POINT WHICH JUST PROVES THAT GONZAGA GRADS ARE MATURE AND ABLE TO SEE THE BIG PICTURE.

  • youve tripped more than once? how could you say that to the cardinal you fucking bitch? and you call yourself a faithful catholic...

  • Comment removed

  • its obvious the gonzaga students are not the ones who need to mature

  • 2:10- you tell em miss. carter!!!

  • pretty sure you can be catholic and pro abortion?

  • I never consented to this, its illegal to post video of those who do not consent to be on camera. Please remove this.

And its pathetic you ATTEMPTED, to ruin the graduation. All you really did was piss off about a thousand people and turn them AGAINST your message.

Oh and I'm Pro-life, but I WILL NOT associate myself with you assholes.

    You disgust me.

    EAGLES FLY HIGH

  • Behold the civility of American Papists!

  • hope you Gonzaga grads posting on here will carefully do your own research. The protestors were wrong to conduct themselves that way. But our own jesuits misinformed and mislead on this as a way to divide the catholic community. The bill is silent on abortion but carefully (intentionally) circumvents Hyde protections and that's the way it was written so as to fool you. That's why Planned Parenthood rejoiced and the bishops cried after it passed. no one is blameless. its all ugly.

  • @dboc2000 i wouldnt say that supporting a bill that is not supposed to support abortion, even though the language in the bill is really confusing and might allow certain funds to go to abortion like sterilization of abortion clinics, because it helps the poor get healthcare is wrong by any means. and it DEFINETLY doesnt make her pro-abortion haha

  • @chrooee you are most certainly entitled to your opinion. I kind of see your point, but then again, if the funds are going to an abortion clinic, they are going to an abortion clinic. The bill was written to be hard to understand and provide cover, but when you see planned parenthood jumping for joy and the pro life movement with its head in its hands, you know it was more than "might allow certain funds..." Evil is a distortion of the good. The devil never shows up in horns, but rather gold.

  • Any extreme is wrong and makes the church and the entire pro-life movement look ignorant and hateful. She has no right to say anything demeaning to the Cardinal, and the protestors have successfully made people think less of them. So really they accomplished the opposite of what they set out to do.

  • if you listen closely at 1:40 you can hear the dick with glasses tell me to "sing a little louder so you can't hear the train tracks of the jews rolling past on their way to execution. thats what your doing."

i definitely deserved that thank you.

  • Eye for an eye. Let's find out when the kids of these a-holes are graduating and ruin their graduations!

  • Did it occur to you that attempting to ruin one of the most important days in these young men's lives only served to confirm that fanatics (religious or otherwise) are to be ignored and pitied for their myopic views. Rather than appreciating these wonderful young men - who are truly "men for others" - you ignored the wonderful possibilities they present for improving the world we live in and instead focused only on ugliness. How appropriate that you were loudly booed. Grow up.

  • I guess Fr. Novotny and the Jesuits accomplished what they wanted. They got their political choice speaker, they thwarted the pro life community and distorted the truth about the abortion funding in the bill that quietly circumvents the Hyde ammendment and many of these boys only remember the anger at the protestors.

Oh, and the looney protestors showed up, too proud and self righteous to represent the pro life community.

Many of us older alumni r ashamed of Gonzaga, but proud u guys.

  • that lady is stupid. thnxs for like distroying their must important day of their life

  • Comment removed

  • I was also oe of the young men in that graduation. I finds it appalling that these people did this. I find it amazing that these ignorant people say they know so much about Sr. Keehan when they know nothing at all. She supports a healthcare bill which i might add does NOT fund abortions. They even put this in the bill a second time and had the President make a speech about it so idiots like the people outside our graduation would know that the bill was against abortion.

  • These protesters should be ashamed of themselves. They had absolutely no right to ruin these students' and their parents' day. It makes me sick. This is was one of the most important days of their lives. Honestly, what did these protesters hope to accomplish? It certainly did not help their cause, it simply made everyone angry with them.

  • I was also wondering if consent was gotten from anyone in this video. I know for a fact some of these young men are still minors.

This was the wrong venue for your rants. In case you didn't notice, because of the way you choose to get your point across, no one there wanted to listen to you.

You seem to have absolutely no clue as to what the fine young men of Gonzaga or their parents or the faculty stand for, because if you did, you wouldn't have put on that disgraceful show. WTG Gonzaga 2010!

  • Even if the bill does support abortion (which it doesn't, according to the actual BILL itself), is it really necessary to ruin the day that hundreds of students, family, friends, and faculty have looked forward to for 4 years? If you disagree with one person's opinion, don't protest a fine class from a fine institution's graduation.

  • it is almost the equivalent of code-pink protesting at a soldiers funeral. No matter where you stand it was not the right venue, classless and not the right time or place. The right thing then occurred, The perp's were arrested! The ceremony was excellent and carried on without further issue, despite these moronic efforts. These Eagle's FLY high!

OfficeFreak makes the good point while a bit misguided...these people are sick, the abortion issue has done this....pray for them

  • I don't care where you stand on the issue (because thats your own PERSONAL BUSINESS), but anyone can agree that its totally unethical to ruin a graduation ceremony. you guys are sick, and sorry fucking excuses for catholics. you make me sick. people like you are the reason the catholic church gets a bad rap.

and we're not the ones who need prayers you close-minded ignorant fool

  • One last thing- I wonder if you have signed consent from alllllll of these boys to publish a video with them in it? Being the completely moronic failures that you are, I wonder if you're aware that it is 100% ILLEGAL to use any "image of their likeness" without their permission. And to reiterate what everyone else has said, way to protest abortion at a JESUIT CATHOLIC ALL-BOYS' SCHOOL CHURCH. Have a lot of Gonzaga boys had abortions lately??? They didn't pick their speaker. In conclusion, FAIL.

  • @lemonlylime excellent comment. These people have no class whatsoever; one of them thought it would be fine to stand near the parking lot after graduation and yell at my mother. Then he sarcastically called me a good christian after I yelled at him for being completely out of line.

  • What would Jesus do?

    Not that.

  • Just a totally hurtful situation all together. The one who was right in all this chose the wrong venue. The March for Life is the setting for the protest. Since that is not enough, the school could have chosen to disinvite her but rather judged her on her entire record. I am upset with Sr. Keehan's actions and feel betrayedby her actions on this one matter. I am hopeful Obamacare is repealed because it is plain to me that federal funds will be used for abortion. Glad to see the emotion...we care

  • I was here for my brother's graduation, and let me just say that the Gonzaga class of 2010 will regret NOTHING from this ceremony. I can't help but notice that this video conveniently failed to mention how the failure protesters' psycho chants were completely drowned out by these dashing men in tuxes BOOING THEM OUT OF THE CHURCH. That's right, nobody in the church even knows what you said.

  • Oh, and since your pathetic crazies got thrown out of the Gonzaga familes' celebration faster than you can say "gtfo of our church," you didn't see (but surely heard) the deafening standing ovation that Sr. Keehan received right after you left. If you've got a problem with Sr. Keehan, interrupt HER graduation. Nobody there took you seriously. You embarrassed yourrselves. Grow up and get a life.

    EAGLES FLY HIGH!

  • fuck you people who came to our graduation. no student is going to listen to you when you are trying to mess up their day so why dont you just go fuck off and protest somewhere else. you literally make me want to be prochoice not prolife just to spite you idiots. it would have made my day to see one of them just get knocked the fuck out but its whatever cus us gonzaga grads will never have to stoop to their low level of yelling at teenagers at a high school graduation.

  • I would love to get the information on the protesters, so I can go to their personal and family events to ruin them. You people are fucking assholes.

  • She should not have been invited to speak. The school missed a rare opportunity to evangelize to their students and their friends and families.

Were the students at fault? NO

    Was the protest inappropriate? NO.

Would a silent protest have been better? Probably.

Sr. Keehan supported the bill before the clause and probably still would.

What's wrong with the bill now? Maybe it's that the government shouldn't have control over our health!

Give to caesar what is caesar's? what is caesars?

  • with regard to Gonzaga regretting Sr. Carol Keehan's appearance, the only regret that people left with that day is that they didnt get the chance to tell you all to fuck off. with regard to you praying "for those connected with Gonzaga," save your fucking prayers and focus on your own useless lives. Oh, and to the woman holding the camera, if it isn't already obvious to you and just in case you've been wondering, the reason why you don't have a husband is because of your voice.

  • This was a completely inappropriate venue to do this: your behavior was hateful, rude, immature, & embarrassing ; it's not all about you & your cause...this was a moment that hundreds of fine young men & their families from a wonderful institution looked forward to. If anything, you hurt your cause...just read the comments on Youtube & my point is proven.

  • By the way. Regarding the "Hopefully, as they mature, they will regret Sister's appearance." clause you tacked on there, we were doing that to try to make all of you STFU. Some of you seem to be 3 times my age with 1/3 the maturity. Do better for yourselves.

  • Don't know if everybody knows this or not (I was one of the guys in the white tuxedos), but after Sr. Carol Keehan spoke, one of the protesters who had snuck in the church began to shout generally at everybody which signaled the assistance of her accomplice protester who snuck THROUGH THE SCHOOL ITSELF to get in through the churchs back office behind the alumni seated on the stage. She also began hollering. Thank you for being disrespectful, protesters, you made everyone laugh.

  • @mctee2000 i heard the lady just walked in with the class of 1960 and sat with them until she started yelling

  • I really am sympathetic to the protestors but they handled themselves disgracefully! Yes, they should have protested, but did I see ANY sign CONGRATULATING the young men of Gonzaga? Afterall, it isn't their fault and it was their day. All the protestors did was turn off some boys they could have reached.

Sr. Keehan is political and she may have caved in a very bad way, in fact I think her conduct was less than admirable, but she is NOT pro-abortion. That's a step over the line.

  • How hypocritical could this have been? Promoting Catholic values and morals in a very rude and obnoxious manner. Extremely uncalled for. This protest was an insult to being a Catholic pro-lifer. I have no problem with protesting against abortion; however, this was no way to get the point across. A simple group of protesters praying with pro-life banners would have been completely in the lines. No reason to spoil this graduation. Look at the big picture and act as true followers of Christ.

  • YO, IF MR. WHITE HAD BEEN THERE, SHIT WOULD HAVE GOTTEN CRAAAAZAAAHHHHAAAAYYYYYY.

  • YOOOOOOO, THESE PEOPLE BE CRAZY

  • ...lecturing an archbishop on what it means to be Catholic, that's something.

And "She has earned a long list of awards and honors, including The Cross for the Church and Pontiff, bestowed by Pope Benedict XVI. "

  • I am truly appalled at these Pro-life Activists. As a former student of Gonzaga, I see these activists spew their hatred at friends of mine, who happen to be innocent faculty and students trying to celebrate their 4 years at the special institution that is Gonzaga. It takes a lot of nerve and pretentiousness to blatantly yell uneducated and inappropriate remarks at these students. People like you make me ashamed to call myself a Christian because of your close-minded remarks.

  • Really? Class act. Protest during a group of 17 and 18 year old young men's graduation from high school because your PERSONAL OPINION differs from that of their speaker? Who would have thought that in the United States of America, people are allowed to form their own opinions? For as old as you and your group looked, you have a lot of growing up to do. Go protest at the Capitol, not at graduations. Self involved idiots.

  • bottom line: their fucking day, not yours. pick a different time and place for "the truth." Don't mock the students for something out of their control.

  • Comment removed

  • Would Jesus stand on a street corner and shout at students like the self-righteous Pharisees? Or would he instead, say, counsel a woman considering abortion or even take in and care for a needy mother who feels she has no other choice than abortion?

  • you guys are sick people. how dare you go and interrupt a graduation ceremony because you don't like the speaker. you completely ruined a once in a lifetime experience for these young men who did NOTHING to you. really really inappropriate

  • This is hilarious, you should all be ashamed of yourselves. Take a look in the mirror and you will see that you are the true children in this situation. This is possibly the most ridiculous video I have ever seen. I will pray for you.

  • She isn't pro abortion. She supports the healthcare bill which helps hundreds of thousends of people who otherwise would suffer. The heathcare bill does not offer funding to abortion. The only way the bill was passed was by adding a clause that prohibited such funds being distributed. You people are insane. Sister supports a bill that saves thousands of men women and children who suffer from curable diseases and illnesses because that is a catholic thing to do. The bill doesn't fund abortions.

  • @donttakemyusername12 Exactly. They use the reasoning that 'She supports the pro-abortion appointees who helped to pass the bill.' In-freaking-sane

  • Fav quote is definitely "no sister Carol KEEHAN is ruining their day!"

BTW, excellent use of Windows movie maker.

  • Somebody call the WAAAAHmbulance. More like MDFaithfulAsslicks

  • @LordFeathersworth well put.

yeah guys, i feel like an idiot after this protest. sorry if we had a negative effect on your experiences. This guy inspired me to apologize. thanks, lordfeathersworth.

  • That was completely and utterly inappropriate of you all to do such a thing at such a wonderful event! Especially storming into the ceremony and interrupting such an important day in the lives of the graduates and their families! You all should be ashamed of yourselves, that is not how Catholics are supposed to act!

  • You people are completely crazy for doing this at a Jesuit Catholic High School graduation. completely innapropriate. You only graduate from high school once in a liftetime and you felt it was necessary to ruin their day like that? That = immature. You people are the worst catholics i know of if you thought this was a good idea. Opposing abbortion is one thing, this is completely different.

  • Gonzaga Graduation was a completely innapropriate setting for such protests.

  • @ramapado fuck you bro

  • @ramapado you should have been a fucking abortion

  • @ramapado No! Gonzaga graduation was a completely inappropriate setting to host a pro-abortion "nun."
