@Myk63 I am ready to thin out their drawers. They have lots of clothes that were passed down to them and I haven't really gone through their drawers in a while to get rid of the old stuff.
That is so funny! I have actually cooked my dinner in the oven for an hour and then went to get it out and , yep, had forgot to turn the oven on! LOL Never forgot the stove though! LOL What fun in the snow! Wow, look at all the laundry!! Whew, must have felt good to have it ALL done! Aw, he's going to bed now.. so cute!! :))
@mysteryglo I have never put something in the oven without turning it on but I have forgotten to turn it on while I'm getting everything ready to put in it and then I have to wait for it to heat up.
As much as I don't like folding laundry, it was nice to have it done.
@HeyThatsMike You'll remind Holly that I do laundry? And here I thought you were going to complete your sentence by saying if Holly ever complains about doing laundry, you'd do it for her. Think about the brownie points, Mike!
Poutine is one of the best dishes ever. You really need to get Holly to try it. :)
thats alot of clothes! we have lot as well, that looked about like a weeks worth here, dont know how many days worth you had. did you say a potien? what? does it have meat in it? where do you get it? i wanna try!
@breakingnc It was a couple of days worth. The boys were mixing clean clothes with dirty clothes so of course it all at to be washed since it was on the floor and you couldn't tell which things had been worn...etc. Didn't make me very happy.
It's poutine. It started in Quebec and now it is so popular in Canada that even places like Burger King and McDonalds have it on their menu. You can cook it up at home. Just get some fries, cheese curds and beef gravy. That's it.
@Scrash09 Thanks! It looks like I have more laundry to do today though. :(
Go get yourself some poutine! NY Fries has got a butter chicken poutine and a beef with mushroom poutine right now. I haven't tried them but they look interesting.
@JvillePunk Maybe my vlogs should be used to promote tourism to Canada? Isn't the point of advertising to make people want want they see on the screen?
So sweet to see the baby sleeping! I know it's sweeter when they sleep at the same time though!
Poutang? What? Spell that for me and then I'll google for more info. It looked...interesting.
Do you dread the snow? I remember how exhausting it was to get three little ones ready to go out on a day like that. Of course, here in the South that much snow (and even less) means no school!
@kaybees49 They normally do sleep at the same time. They missed their nap because their appointment but Lyan couldn't wait until bedtime to go to sleep. He just passed out while playing.
It's poutine. Fries, cheese curds and gravy. :)
I don't mind the snow. I'm used to driving in it (although not in our 15 passenger van). If I'm going out, I just need to make sure I schedule enough time to get everyone dressed.
What was for dinner? looked good! Oh wow, look at that snow! I am so jealous, looks fun! The babies were in a good mood for just getting shots. Wow that's a lot of laundry! So that's what Poutine looks like, we need to try that still.
@HeyThatsHolly Dinner was a cheeseburger casserole thing. It's beef with onion fried then put on the bottom. Grated cheese on top and then Bisquick biscuit mix poured on top and you bake it for about 20 minutes or so. It's easy to make and feeds everyone.
We're still getting more snow. It is so nice to watch it fall.
They did very well. No swelling or fevers. They cried for the shots and then that was it!
@McAlisterMania Hopefully they'll get a really good snowball fight in when they aren't waiting for the school bus. We have a lot more snow now too so they can have a blast outside.
I felt so silly not turning the stove on. At least I still got dinner on the table at a decent time.
@billyCtv I'm sure there will be plenty more times where I will forget to turn on the stove.... hopefully not until I'm a senior citizen.
I don't mind laundry when there's just a few things but when you start getting clothes, plus towel, plus bed sheets.... it just gets to be a little much.
That is SOOO my house... except my laundry isn't folded.... and all of the clothes have NEVER been clean at once. I got nervous when you showed the play-pen and almost audibly told you to get the baby out before he woke his twin, I grab up the first twin that is up so that I only have one awake for a while!!! ;0)
@busvlogger I don't know why I fold my boys' clothes. My 10 year old "put them away". My two year old's previously folded clothes are on his floor, my 10 year old and 7 year old have them stacked on their dresser and have been sifting through them to find the perfect outfit... so they aren't folded anymore.
Dayn did get pulled out of the playpen so Lyan could sleep. They are incredible sleepers though. Noise doesn't bother them or their sibling climbing on them.
@twish1999 Wasn't that sweet? I had to end the vlog with it because it was just the cutest little goodnight. :) :) It made me smile. :) What a way to end my day. :)
@noahsark1962 OH! I would hate to have my light switch control my washer and dryer! You need to get a lamp for the laundry room and unscrew the lightbulb in the ceiling or something so it isn't used to light the room anymore and prevent people from turning it off.
OMG you must have a ton of laundry all of the time. I hate folding laundry more than any other chore. OK, maybe cleaning the bathroom is worse, but still.
@timido66 Laundry is never ending. I had the standard top loader washer and the regular capacity dryer and it took forever! I'd probably only get a couple of loads done a day. I love my new front loaders! They are so much faster and hold more.
And I hate doing bathrooms as well... although oddly, I'd rather clean them than do laundry. In an hour I can have all my bathrooms clean whereas laundry is never done in an hour.
@mszeineb Yay for watching my videos for the first time!! Thank you so much for watching! :) :) I haven't been very consistent getting my vlogs out lately as I have had a crazy month but I am hopeful that once my semester is over in a week I'll be able to get things out on a regular basis again.
lol, i do that with coffee pot alot, i fix it , come back 15 mins later and no coffee,,sometimers, sometimes we remember , sometimes we dont((smiles))looks cold there
At least you didn't find it cooking 4 hours later in a smoke filled house. Been there done that.(more than once) That dish looked so gooood!,What time? HA HA HA HA.....HAHAHA!
@MrFlyinpig Oh a smoke filled house would be bad! I've burned rice a few times and that produced a nice amount of smoke but to leave something cooking for 4 hours.... I bet it took a while to air the house out and get rid of all that smoke.
Dinner was yummy. It is very easy to make too which is even better. :)
@blueeyedgirlie249 Dannan was angry as he was given 5 different needles (we were behind in his vaccinations). The twins both had 4 shots. It was a long appointment and they were all too happy to get out of there!
Are you having a blond moment day. :P Your dinner looks yummy. Look at all of that snow. At least your boys are having fun in it. Ouch, shots. I don't like shots. You have some handsome boys.
I am thankful that the temperature hasn't been horrible so the boys can actually be outside playing in it. Sometimes it can be so cold that you can't be outdoors.
If you're in need of anymore laundry to do, just stop on over here! I have no idea how you do it with 6 kids and 2 adults in the house, my laundry room is never empty with just 3 of us, haha. Mmmm, poutine. Scott and I treated ourselves to some (though homemade) this weekend too. So good.
@Kayleebob Maybe once I consistently have no laundry to do I'll consider helping others with theirs.
Poutine is delicious! I just discovered that New York Fries has come out with a Beef and Mushroom poutine and a Butter Chicken poutine. I like my original poutine though so I don't know if I'll be adventurous and try the others.
It does help to turn on the stove! ( : So neat to see the snow! Loved the babies in their snow suits. I'm impressed that you have all your laundry done! I wish I could relate to that, lol! Loved the good night conversation (I already tucked you in once, lol)
@the5parkers The stove eventually being turned on was very helpful. :)
The babies are not sure what to think of their snowsuits. Where we lived before it never got cold enough for them so I am getting a kick out of bundling them up.
It is rare that laundry is completely caught up in our house. It probably won't happen again for several months.
When Dannan decides he's ready for bed, he can be so very sweet. :)
@chrisbogdan The boys love snow! They were so excited to be able to go outside and play in it. My oldest even brought his Boys Book of Survival outside to try and figure out how to build an igloo. Not quite the right snow for it but he and his friend had fun trying to figure it out.
@qoreecheewa It sure was a lot of laundry. I am trying to understand how summer clothes got mixed in there. It would probably be less if only the winter clothes were being washed but I guess my boys were dressing up or something and provided me with even more clothes to wash.
With me it is the dryer. I often put clothes in it get the dryer sheet in there and walk off only to be totally confused as to why they are not dry when I come back in an hour because I failed to turn it on.
@Grandpageech Oh I've forgotten about the dryer too. You hear the washer going and assume the dryer is going running as well. Then you have a load of wet clothes ready to go in but you have to wait for the dryer to now dry the clothes that were already in there.
@ace77man I'm in Alberta, Canada. The video only shows the first snow fall. We've had plenty more since then.
Laundry is never ending. I now have dirty clothes to wash again. I am so thankful for front loaders though. I was drowning in dirty laundry before I got those.
