birds do not stand almost 8 feet tall and stare you down with red eyes with huge dark wings folded behind their backs with the face of a monster. loren coleman needs to get out in the woods around some abandoned cemetaries some time.

the creature i've seen stood quiet tall and looked just like a gargoyle or something from jeepers creepers; winged with red reflective eyes. this was in the mid to late 90's in northeastern texas. i'm disappointed with the artists depiction of the creatures in this series.

I saw a news real in mexico about this, it actually looked like a witch on a broomstick, but after seeing the humanoids in mexico on this show, i think that "witch" was the same creature those policemen saw.

More importantly Animal X makes you think. It asks the questions and then lets you make up your own mind. It investigates but leaves you to be the detective.

Animal X is the only long running Cryptozoology show in the world, Cryptozoology is the study of hidden animals, animals considered to be legendary or nonexistent by mainstream biology.

Cryptozoology has its roots in the travelling fairs and circuses of the late 1800s.
