  • What are reasons to have digital converted to analog?

  • The Videos has been a big help thank you

  • ok to all you picky mother fuckers out there it really doesnt matter if you use vinyl cdjs controllers with software etc. the first rule is to have fun you fucking bastards secondly who the fuck is gonna care what you use as long as you keep the crowd entertained and everyones having a good time so why dont you get that rod out your asses and stop hating on other djs styles.

  • Technics 1200 vinyl records !

  • All you stupid kids.. This machine plays CDs. Not USB, Not PC or Mac connectors.... CD's.

This is the staple hardware for serious DJs around the globe. Much like Technics in the Analog world.

You have to use your ears, not count on a computer to do the mixing or synching.

Unless you hook up Serato or whatevr else.

These are sturdy, will last for a long time. All you saying "Well these are expensive.... blah blah" You don't know what the fuq you are talking about.

  • @luckytaco97.... No, you cant insert a thumb drive full of your favorite Deadmau5/Skrillex horse shit you illegally downloaded from the internet. This will take your tracks on a CD that has been written on, or you can scroll thru the screen to read the CD's content. Does that sound like a lot of work to you over night DJ posers? It isnt. It's called dedication. I love keeping 2 tracks beatmatched for minutes. Manually.

So yes.. keep dissing this. Don't by this.Let real DJs have this.

  • @luckytaco97 you can obviously insert thumb drive you complete moron. why do you think it has a thumb drive port? for shits and giggles? you clearly know nothing about djing.

  • @bendubsteplaw Thumbdrive port on the MKIII cdj? Where is this USB port you freaking MORON? I own the unit, do you? it has a front loading SD crad slot to save queue points, that's it. I wont even get into the im a better dj than you squaggle, as you clearly lack common knowledge. And if you are DJing, please stop. You Dumb Dubstep wanna be DJ.

  • @luckytaco9 dubstep wanna be dj? ha. i mix house.

  • @bendubsteplaw If you mix house then why is your screenname Dubstep you halfwit. You hear that everyone? A House Dj has a screen name that's dubstep. Please stop. After eating your own words about the cdj... Also, don't call yourself a deejay. And leave house music alone. Deadmau5 Isn't house. Over./

  • @luckytaco97 actually deadmau5 does a lot of proggresive house and trance, therefore is a house producer. and my screen name is dubstep because i enjoy a lot of dubste and occasionaly mix dubstep. do you have a problem with that? goodbye.

  • @luckytaco97 btw sorry, i always thought the unit had a usb port :/ guess pioneer slipped up there :P

  • @seismicreptile I'd personally go for the 900.

  • Pioneer cdj 1000 mk3? or the Cdj 900's?

  • @SeismicReptile 1000 mk3, CDJ 900 has ready loops 1/2 1/4 1/8 1/16.

  • Is there a problem with the Technics turntables?....;)

  • Hey how many hot cue it have

  • @sirin555 3 hot cues, hit "record" below the 3 buttons to set live hot cue points on the fly

  • SONGNAME?

  • your cue point is wrong dude ! :D

  • ta mui pendejo el qe las usa pero ya me dio una ideaa de todo lo qe se puede hacer

  • does it make tracks compatible to a set tempo? I bought a dj set but it won't match each tracks from the desired tempo and it's annoying trying to mix tracks

  • so 240p. we meet again! -.-

  • Why would anybody ever buy that when you could get an NS7, or even an NS6 (both are all-in-one) for cheaper than ONE turntable?

  • Can you only play cd on this deck or can you use usb?

  • cue is button for searching beat -.-

  • Is ir realy necessary a PC ? Cant I mix musics just using two of these and DDM-4000 ?

  • @BlueThor1 if your asking that question why would you need that kind of equiptment. Theres no need to spend all that money unless your either rich as fuk or a pro dj :P

  • thank U dude, it was very helpful for me, I've learned some things that I didn't know before ;)

  • hiya can you play a full cd album with theses decks?

    /

  • Please watch my CDJ 1000 mk3 video: youtube.com/watch?v=aEZvpTzdTso

  • i like the pionner cdj1000 not the cdj 2000 i liked virtual dj 7

  • Shame your an electro puff. play some proper tunes

  • how to connect to the mixer?

  • @TheStonedAsian1 Just using phono cables

  • best player ever

  • YIAWAK YIAWAK HAH

  • this song is great

    song??

  • Can You Connect This Set With A Computer?

  • @Anthonyperez3 Of course ! :)

  • the nam of song? pls.

  • name*@gery2221

  • Can you play songs from these with a usb or only cds? I have a party tonight need to know :P

  • @qwarrior0 lol

  • @qwarrior0 You can play witch CDs and this player haven't got a USB input, just a memory card, the CDJ 850 has an USB input ;)

  • Popcornfreak129@ thats exactly what I'm gonna do.. Can't afford the 2000s and doesnt make sense buying 1000s mk3 at full price. Gonna search for second ones for £1k plus

  • my tape is better

  • 2:40 FAIL!!!

  • can u use usb on it ?

  • @vifgirpiff No, it has just a memory stick and you can save many cue points on it... If you want a CDJ with a USB input, have a look at the CDJ 850 ;) (and the 850 is cheaper than the 1000 MKIII ;))

  • @DJPandaOnAcid ok thank man :)

  • So,, and what can this thing do except playin songs, scrolling to them, loop them, and set 3 cuepoints? I mean, why don't use use traktor -.-'? No need to lug around kilo's of CD's, and you can even use it with CDJ's :P

  • i bought 2 cdj 1000 mk3's for 950 euros! theyr work perfect teehee

  • Always going to stay behind & NUMARK DENON, is only name and nothing more!!

  • @djgilvandrocampos Numark sucks :p

  • this effect is a waste of scratch!

  • nice!!!!

  • Thank you very much for this video! It's what I've been looking for!

  • Muy bueno alparecer soy el unico que habla español xD!"

  • Quick question, ive never used this model only the 900's. On the 1000's when you enter a cd with a track you burned to it, will it give you the bpm and wave format?

  • you wouldnt happen to have marfans syndrome would you? your fingers are mighty long and skinny. if your arm span is longer then you hight you might wanna go get checked yo.

  • anything from there high school disco to super clubs on equipment that you actually had to work. superstars like... dave clark, carl cox 3 deck wonder (big bang), eddie halliwell, richie hawtin, steve lawer, oakenfold & pete tong. everything else is wrong!! death to the Technics turntable is breaking my heart. god bless vinyl and all who have any left. yaaaaaasssssss party on!!!!!!!

  • OMG!! these things take away the fun and the skill of being a actual...DJ. Yes pioneer has made the most amazing product, but it has made people who cant beat mix into superstars. what would they do if the beat counter failed? can they control a platter or use one ear to listen to one side of the mix while cueing up the other. the answer is no! try them on 2 sl1200 mk1 we will see who is great. I put my hands up to people who have came through the ranks and mixed at

  • tracklist ... anyone ? also

  • its like 900 - 1200 euros only ONE player , so if u need two of them expect to spend around 2000 =_=

good ... now you need a mixer and a PC =)

  • @andymboss Get a job, then. it's not all that hard.

  • @Mouse18e well.. i'm 17 , didn't finish high school , where the fuck can i be hired , i don't think i'll even earn 1000 per year

  • @andymboss and then some good speakers...cause most simple speakers can´t support the these dj equipment =)

  • @andymboss I hope u die ;) or never be respect by DJ community

  • @betawaveschannel uuuu ,that's some heavy fucking inteligence there mister producer ^^

  • @andymboss NO 1500E for two now...second hand..

  • @andymboss you dont need pc for djing just use cd......ooh ya you need something to burn the cds

  • @MultiTylertv i think its more usefull to play music from you computer in some software like... traktor , mixmeister.. etc than put cd`s in it :D

  • @andymboss well thats what i though at firsst but its mutch more fun with cds and its better there is no latency loops are more accurate and you ddont have to carry an expensive laptop everywere plus what if your laptop crashes oooh shit what are you gonna do now and dont forget these were originally cd players like everyother pioneer product soft ware is for midi controllers

  • @MultiTylertv "software is for midi controllers" I need that on a T-shirt

  • @andymboss Ok .... Its called a CDJ ... Do u think it needs a pc?? Its not a fucking pcdj???

  • @DaKulGuy Not to make you look like an asshole but.... Every modern DJ got an PC/laptop at the moment. For completing your mixes an set them straight up in a line. Organization and making an good live set of your music is how it's called (:

  • @buffon007police Actually I play all my gigs with 3-4 books full of CDs also the CDJs allow for USB and thumbdrive so you can plug in your hard drive eliminating the usage of laptops :)

  • @nachoisone Yeah you can play with CD books thats not the problem. But normally you got your own laptop with you for the organizing of everything. I don't tell your music is on it but I do tell that thats the organizing part of your set up to make it straight. (:

  • @buffon007police Actually I just show up to my gigs with the CDs and leave the laptop at home. As far as sets go i vibe off the crowd. The only thing i have set in my actual set is the first song I play then build off from there. As far as organization i have written on the CDs as well as printed Track #, Song, Artist, BPM. :)

  • @nachoisone Yeah ok that could be that you write everything on your CDs

I don't say it's not good or what so ever but I do say that the MODERN DJ use a laptop instead of writing it down on papers, CDs, in the palm of your hand or wtf else.

I don't say that what you do isnt good.

But by using your laptop your always a step ahead instead of writing it down.

For example setting your loops, automaticly cue points for every number etc etc

That the case that I wanna go to in this discussion: MODERN DJ

I don't say that what you do isnt good.

But by using your laptop your always a step ahead instead of writing it down.

For example pre-set your loops, automaticly cue points for every number etc etc

The case that I wanna go to in this discussion: MODERN DJ

  • @buffon007police I actually do consider myself to be a "modern" DJ I produce my own tracks (all currently a w.i.p.) I burn them on CD and spin. The information i have written down is simple to take glance and move onwards. I know many DJs who don't use laptops. Setting loops and cue points is something i rarely do. I don't know many Goa DJs that do loops. Perhaps if i spun house that could be a different story. Even so I'd lose the laptop.

  • @buffon007police This Dj i know said his serato crashed on him when he was "making a set." So what does that mean just hit play and the laptop mix for you? Why call yourself a DJ if all you are going to do is to open up the software and hit play? May as well plug in your ipod and get the same set. Or even better prerecord the "amazing stupendeous" set put it into itunes hit play and pretend you are mixing. If i want to see a DJ i wanna see a DJ actually do something besides staring at a screen.

  • @nachoisone A DJ can do it all by hiself! Don't worry and over-react. (: The only difrence is that the DJ normally put his loop, cue points, hot cue points etc by hiself DURING the mix. That makes it less conversation with the crowd. And less attention at the DJ. Nowadays people want a DJ who preform an amazing set and got the conversation with the crowd. Normally when you have to put every loop and point by yourself during the mix it would take times to do it. Now you just pump up the crowd

  • @buffon007police So pretty much set everything preset in Serato and hit play and fool people into thinking you are mixing live, got ya.

  • @nachoisone You need to know what in the devil you're talking about before embarrassing yourself like this. This is a digital turntable. You do the mixing not a computer.

  • @luckytaco97 @luckytaco97 I was originally referring to software such as serato and defending the fact that you do NOT nee to use a Laptop to DJ. Also for your information the CDJ 2000 uses thumbdrives. other wise WTF was Pete Tong doing with a thumbdrive in a CDJ 2000 during the ID fest? I personally use CDs. Infact my entire set up is full analog with use of NO computer. i was making a point that the "Modern DJ" does not NEED to have a laptop in order to spin.

  • @DaKulGuy ok dude, not to be an asshole, but how else is the DJ going to play online poker?

  • @nachoisone :D

  • @andymboss buy second hand ones. i did, there in perfect condition, no scratches and only for 1000 for both! :D

  • @andymboss i got a pair for £650 brand new off ebay!!!!!

  • @andymboss why would you need a pc? if you have two of these?

  • @andymboss eBay! I just got 2 in perfect condition for just under 1000 pounds!

  • @muzicizmysaviour its a Pioneer CDJ-1000 MK3

  • Cool vid! thanks for uploading!

Thinking about buying a used one!

I like the 3 cue pointes more then the autobeatloop function of the 800 and 900.

  • @VJbasti I'ts also on the 850 I think

  • OMG! i was falling asleep. d>_<b

  • hi! is 4gb sd card compatible with cdj1000mk3?

  • ears going west!

  • i wanted to hear this guys sexy voice, lol

  • Thankyou man, I gotta gig where I gotta use em and I usually spin off my own so this is a big help.

  • Its been about a year since I've touched one of these things ("cough"SERATO) and I wanna thank you for the brush up friend...I'm spinning a rave tonight so this is gonna help. Kinda tired of having to switch laptops w people using SERATO.

  • how much does one cdj 1000 cost and can yo connect it to a laptop?

  • @J4M13F0X you can get them for about 6-800 on ebay

  • i shouldve did this demo LOL

  • i have those same pioneer players meow !!!!!

  • if i was to buy one of these table, would i need spicific cd's, or could i use any regual cd i wanted (or mp3 file)?

(as u can tell, im new to the whole dj'ing buisness :P)

  • @marquardt0192 u need the tunes to be at 320kbps preferably to get the best sound quality

  • @iainennit i know, what im asking is, since this is a dcj player, do i need a cd with just instrumentals? or can i use any random cd i wanted to mix/scratch?

  • @marquardt0192 Why would you think you need a cd with just instrumentals? you use ur regular cds with whatever music you listen to and play it as normal. the idea is these players will allow you to get your cds and mix different songs together or you could learn scratching depending wat music you are into and what you like. it'll play mp3s too but not all cdjs will play mp3's.

  • @DJNardini ok thx, whenever i heard a dj playing, its only ever been instrumental tracks, so i didnt think u could accually use regular cd's.

  • thanks for the video:) think you could do one with the cdj 2000?

  • yeah , yeah ,yeah but what if we don't all have 1000s and 1000's to spend on decks?

  • prefer cdj 900

  • Wow. Expensive though. Im sure you could build one for a fraction of the price.

  • very good.

    i learned much

  • nice #lol #fail buy a car but then its a reely hard decision between them

  • Can I ask , what's the point in pressing/holding the cue button, do many people use it?

  • @DJMKN93 sometime i use it to bring in certain sounds from a song and incorperate it into the other as a teaser, or when i look for a song i just hold it down for a few sec to help with my beat matching

  • @DJMKN93 dj's set cue points which can be marginally out so they set it and check it is ok by pressing the cue to hear that it starts at the first beat and not half way through a beat. its also a stutter effect so you can use the cue point to play as long as you need it to then let it go and it goes back to the cue point to reuse.

  • omfg wtf dj fuck you !!!:D

  • thanks great tips - much appreciated

  • wtf ?

  • i want that shit, is awesome

  • hey i have a question to ask bro..the hot cue wil be thre if i changed track already?let say i wanna hot cue it in track 3...then i switch back my set to track 1..wil it stil be thre?

  • @ohmunkeong yes it will stay there til you clear it. there are three hot cues on this but you can set it as a seamless loop or just using your cue button. if you are playing a track then you press a hot cue it will play the hot cue if there is one loaded.

  • What cd or album have you in there whilst demonstrating?

  • Officially .The cdj1000 mk3 has been discontinued . Only availabe while stocks last.

About time i say. It was made a dinosaur of long ago by denon's media players.

Pio purists can crawl out if their own arses now eh !

  • Wow...., what an awesome bit of kit.

I've allways been a vinyl junkie but I need two of these in my life!

  • Worth Every penny especially after they dropped in price after cdj2000

  • there now dwn to £999 mate as the 2000s are now out

  • IS this available in India??how much would it cost here? Thanks

  • How much do these cost exactly?

  • nice vid, cheers mate

  • NICE MAN!

  • My bud got this.. It cost around 34000 Kr. and 6 Kr. is about 1dollar

  • whahahha he sucks!!!

  • Why does he suck?

He is giving a demo on that cdj for folk that want to know about them, whats the point of saying he sucks because he's doing that?

    Idiot..

  • @djfreshtraxx lol i hate that people buy the best equipment but they suck
