I'm also using the exact same esc ,jeti 77 opto. Do you by any chance have to programming sequence for it,it was used previously in a heli and has a slow start and I need to change it to quick startup. Thanks.
Actually it was the elevator pushrod hanging up. It would stay either a little up or a little down but not in between. He has since replaced the whole pushrod setup. We'll get more video when we can.
Where did you put the battery hatch?

On the bottom right between the front and back hardware for the landing gear.
Also built a battery holder and epoxed it inside.

It has an AXI 5330/18 motor, Jeti 77amp opto ESC, 20inch e-prop and an 8s2p 4400mah battery.

Excellent flight. Neat to see a plane of that size converted to electric. Shows how far modeling has come since the old gas engines. 5 stars!
