  • the propeller camrea on the head!! epic!

  • @jordanlovespplz Amazingly there only a few people that noticed a giant four foot bar spinning on my head. That should tell ya we really ARE invisible to most.

  • @ROKKIT44 I saw it, I just knew that i wans't suppose to notice it so in order to not ruin the "magic" of the video I didnt point it out

  • Very good job making this video. I have a motorcycle and a GoPro, but had to watch this several times. Will pass this along to friends.

  • @BansheeFifteen Cool. Say hi for me. :)

  • @Gee0F You thank I am.

  • what about a storm? because I'm craving a ride soooo bad ride now but it's super windy and going to storm in a few minutes. HATE melbourne weather!

  • @ausguitarist Windy?! come on man. I thought Australians were tougher than that.

  • @ausguitarist ive ridden through hurricanes. although they probably arent as crazy as ones in Oz. you can do it bro just get that rainsuit on and enjoy it, take it easy, feel the road and tires connect.

Because one day -hopefully NOT- you wont have that bike to enjoy for whatever reason. take it from me, take that chance. unless its like 120mph wind LOL.

  • @Ryknfjor haha yeah! well now its sunshine and 28 degrees(Celsius). beautiful weather to ride!!

  • OMG that was super sick! ALmost like a trailer to a movie

     thumbs up!!

  • @Ryknfjor Now coming soon, a "thank you" near you!

  • Ha ha, thanks...ill do that, ill tell you later how it goes

  • Watched this video like 9 times, almost got my spinning camera mount....i just need to figure out how to mount it on my helmet without drilling any holes.....dont tell me, I CAN DO THIS!! Good video by the way....

  • @wilo84 SPOILER ALERT: Double sided foam tape with a large mounting surface that matches the contours of your helmet.

  • Great Video! Makes me miss riding.

  • @SuperBlackhawk575 Nice to meet you "Miss Riding".

  • Helmet swivel cam is pretty sweet. Nice video man!

  • @americanmadexb I looked so... cool riding around with it. :)

  • And snow is god's way to tell you you need to take a break? Sweet vid.

  • @seb1041 Gracius!

  • one of the best videos ever, without a single doubt. Never get tired of watching it! Thanks Rokkit for this masterpiece.

  • @k90nivek Thank YOU for watching it.

  • O:

the best video i`ve ever seen

  • @TheSweetgoth I'm very flattered. Thank you very much.

  • When i was against the wall about buying a bike or not and i was researching everything on the internet trying to find an answer, a friend of mine sent me this video. A week later I picked up my 650R. Greatest decision of my life. This is still one of my favorite vids.

  • @gaeta34 Welcome to the club! We're happy to have you.

  • Points for attitude.........

  • @bodysurf100 Points? Sweet! What did I win?

  • VERY NICE

  • @Fasesure93 Thank you

  • i keep coming back here

  • @AridersLife Good thing we don't charge admission! :) Come by anytime.

  • Beautiful video! If you can get on your bike and NOT grin from ear to ear, you are doing something very wrong. Keep the rubber side down, and i'll see you on the open road...Happy Riding!

  • @philellis123 Beautifully said!

  • I enjoyed this video very much. I've watched it a couple of times. I'd definitely share this stuff.

  • @caspermayne That's cool. Thank you for stopping by. :D

  • @ROKKIT44 Yeah sure. I mean when I saw your video, this specific video. You blew my mind ROKKIT, I immediately subscribed to you! This video tells me, to whoever rides out there that is all about the perception. Most people say it's a killer machine but nobody actually understand how easy and joyful is to ride. Especially in my country -Israel- Keep the vids coming, your production is amazing, fun to watch ;)

  • Can you explain camera mount as seen at 2:03 min of this video?

  • @Anticitizen419 magic. ;)

  • @ROKKIT44 duh!

  • @Anticitizen419 look at the shadow in 2:07

  • @Anticitizen419 Pay attention to shadow...it's the key :-)

  • Love the video and attitude to riding a bike.

  • @1966idc I am happy you enjoyed it. :)

  • 36k! how did you get so many views!

  • @pizzaonaninja I made a vid that apparently connected with people in some way I guess.

  • Hi one question, have you posted a video about the mounts you use for your camera? Of course I am interested on those fabulous takes turning around while moving! THANKS

  • @AMPJ08 I haven't yet actually. I think I will have plenty of time to make vids like that once the snow comes though. I kinda took a break from shooting this summer, it was a little rough for me lately. I have one vid talking about the spinning camera almost finished. Just a little bit of shooting left and then I will upload it. Stay tuned. :)

  • Wow!! That spinning camera set up is an ingenius idea, the effect is amazing, I guess you can control the direction by tilting your head ?

This vid reminds me of pieces of the old DrSardonicus Mountain Rider vids which I can't find anymore, brilliant, keep up the good work :-)

  • @CrustyBiker I haven't seen that vid. And yes, I weighted the camera slightly heavier than the counterweight so I could control the direction by tilting my head.

  • @ROKKIT44 The video I speak of was 1 of about 20 vids that was on the DrSardonicus site, I have found a few of these vids are now on YouTube, I like the different use of camera angles like you use, this is not my fav one but similar you need to YouTube search "Dr Sardonicus RipCurl" and watch about a min and a half to get a feel for it, roads are awsome too "vegasstreetriders" have other DrSardonicus vids also "rolling the bones" a good group ride vid, I go check more of yours now :-)

  • I have never been so effected by a video ever! thank you Rokkit44, you have nailed it perfectly....... BRILLIANT!

  • @Hytram1 All I hope was that the affect was a positive one. Keep riding and keep safe my friend.

  • i watch this video every 3 days or so. :)

it inspired me to try and come up with something such as this.

  • @AridersLife Thanks for the comment Peter. I am always glad to have a hand, no matter how slight, in helping others be inspired to create.

    ROKKIT

  • Great video - now I'm please to note I'm not "nuts"!

  • @rogerinth I'm happy to hear that bro!

  • Was gonna complain that you should have more views, but just realized this video is new so you doing pretty good so far! :)

  • @carlylespicks Either way, I'm cool if it doesn't get any more views. It was fun just to make it.

  • @ROKKIT44 Somebody that gets it! People wonder why I put so much effort into my videos without getting paid...meanwhile, I'm having a blast and they are so aggravated with heir lives that one person cuts them off on the road and they absolutely loose it.

  • awesome vid

  • @benerificable danka!

  • love the video love the music. btw whats the title of the song?

  • @rtcivic its on the 'motorcycle diaries' soundtrack - look it up

  • absolutley love this video !!!!!!!!!!!! i look around and wonder if i'm crazy sometimes becuase i ride ,work,or play , whenever i want 110degrees or pouring down rain. My days are numbered so why waste one of them ? if i lived my life by everyones elses excuses i would be a zombie afraid of pain and sweat ! how else do you know your alive if you didnt welcome what the world throws at you

  • @Hemi4127 Like I said in my flick "Riding Lessons - For Life" - If yer not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space. Thanks for stoppin' by.

  • im downloading this vid atm dude, want to put it on my ipod and watch it during my ride lol

  • @ujayyy I am assuming you mean when you are stopped. Otherwise, that might be a little unnecessary. :)

  • Thanks for your video, REALLY inspiring. Definitively loved your takes that turn around you either when you mount on your bike as well as the one when you ride it! Can you share what kind of accessory you put or made for your GoPro in order to do this take??? Super thanks again. great job.

  • @AMPJ08 I have had a lot of requests to make a video about that subject. I promise it's in the works. I could just make a simple vid explaining the rig, but I kinda wanna challenge myself with another technique in regards to editing. So be patient and it will be out before ya know it. :)

  • Awesome videos, I love to see someone that puts as much effort into their videos as they do their ride! Subbed.

  • @Razkull Thanks for both the sub and the comment.

  • Kudos to you good sir... I will be watching this plenty in the future.

Where is this set anyway? It's beautiful. Sorry if you've already answered that question...

Also, I like your bike. I have an FZ6. I'd like an R6 someday; I hope I'm not too tall for one at 6'3".

  • The R6 is the tallest of all the 600's. That said, it's not a cruiser. My advice - Go to a shop and sit on one. Or if you have a very trusting friend, borrow one and take it for a ride. As for the setting, (with exception of the rain shot, this video is taken all within city limits. Calgary, AB. Compared to the mountains just 45 minutes away, it's pretty "meh". If you haven't seen the Canadian Rockies, your life is incomplete.

  • Super awesome!! Brought tears to my eyes!! :D :D

And two people actually disliked it!! :O

  • @vickydude525 Ya can't please everyone. I very glad you liked this video so much. I hope I can keep it up.

  • This video must be dedicated to all the biker around the world !

  • @abhishekmurdeshwar It already is my friend. But I need a few people's help to share it. :)

  • @ROKKIT44 I have already done that.. :) Keep loading more video..you have been Subscribed :)

  • @ROKKIT44 BTW just wanted to tell you..I had posted this video on my Facebook wall yesterday..and all i can see today is, its shared by most of my friends on Facebook :)

  • What jacket is that?

  • @classikz Scorpion

  • I keep coming back to watch this video at least once every couple of days. This sir should be shown at the end of every single MSF class. I love this video.

  • @iamramekin Hey now that's a comment and a half! So I guess I have you to thank for the 22,000 views this sucka's got so far. Thanks for that. Haha. I had fun making it, even when I had to stand perfectly motionless for 40 minutes. Or when I had a stupid helicopter mount on my head while riding through my neighbourhood. It was still fun. I feel like a kid who gets lost in the moment of making something for no other reason than because I can.

  • Awesome video

  • @TheSean1431 Thank you!

  • Nice video. i enjoyed it very much. I think you did convey the joy we feel when we ride. "The best ride is every time you twist the grip". Nice.

  • @lehmanmnmwp Not sure what you copying my comment to this guy was for. But as I say on my channel page, I welcome all comments, even if they're negative. I would prefer they be constructive and respectful and most of all - honest. If someone has something to add that might make my next one better, they should tell me. How else can I learn. It doesn't guarantee I'll use it, but it's good to know anyway.

    ROKKIT

  • Thanks to you!!

    From Brazil!

  • I admire your video but I feel sorry for you if that's the only roads you have to ride on.

  • @blue03r6 The purpose of the flick sir was to convey the feeling of riding no matter what kind of roads you are on. In actuality I live less than 45 minutes from amazing roads that wind through the Rocky mountains. You can see some of them in some of my other flicks. Check 'em out if ya like.

  • lol at helmet hair being in there.

    very true!

That's one of the main reasons why I never ride my bike to school or work.

  • @alehax27 True dat! Although, as the vid says, it is not a good enough excuse. Haha

  • Too bad there was no actual good riding in the video!

  • @aydinvideo If by "good riding", you mean knee dragging n wheelies, I'm sorry to disappoint you sir. The roads that day were either neighbourhood roads or highways that I'd have to be going 200+ before draggin a knee was even necessary. This was about the feeling. That it doesn't have to be on a secluded curvy side road, or special occasion, but everyday riding as well. I appreciate you opinion anyway. BTW, took a look at your vids. You have real talent in both riding and editing. Great stuff!

  • Again man great job!!!

  • @lankmaster Thank you. I really appreciate it.

  • Awesome video ! Great effect..thank you for sharing.

  • @johnballs Thanks man!

  • This video is brilliant.

Can I ask you, what program did you use to processing this video, and this scene when you stand without moving and we can see the clouds beheind you - is it a video sequence or photo (one by one) sequence?

  • @oceanofstupidity I used Final Cut Pro X. I did the cloud shot by standing perfectly still for forty minutes while the camera was set to time lapse. 1 frame for every second, and then sped up to 30 frames per second in post.

  • @ROKKIT44 Thanks for the information. :-)

  • That was awesome and inspring! Thanks!

  • @seat30 Cheers!

  • Wow, I still cant get over this vid. Brought big smiles to my face. Cant wait to start riding.

  • @mackychris24 Thank you and I look forward to seeing you out there man!

  • Very cool vid!!!! Thanks!

  • @1rodeoman68 Cheers!

  • ¡Perfecto!

  • @DNRublev Thanks-o!

  • Emotional video.

    My best compliments !!!

    Ciao!

  • @00dun00 Thank you sir.

  • that is the ROTR system for the go pro correct? i couldnt find the company website!

  • @sprofera Actually I made that myself. I had no idea they made something like it.

  • Nice one, well done!

But I have to point out - 'than' not 'then' with comparatives e.g. 'They are MORE afraid of us THAN we are of them.'

With correct grammar, just looks that bit more professional.

    ;)

  • @mightlife Yes, I know. I realized that AFTER I uploaded. Ah well.

  • Comment removed

  • holy shit this was great!!!

  • @mackychris24 Thank you. I had fun making it.

  • great video..and I'll just read that as twist the 'throttle' and overlook that you said grip..and give you thumbs up :D

  • @NoobInaCan well technically, the grip is what you touch which is also the throttle. Haha. So really we're both right.

  • very nicely done video. great content, great execution!!

  • @axedekruif I do what I can. Thanks for the kind words.

  • well that was awesome. you basically put into video what i cant even put into words. im not a weekend warrior, my bike is my transport im on it every day of the week. AND I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ajpitkethly I here ya. I do almost all of my commuting in the summer on a bike. That's about 52 km a day.

  • One person watched this, bought a bike, went for a ride, and crashed.

    You've gotta catch the fever!

  • @RocketBurn11 Amen!

  • is there??

  • @serangelc ?

  • @ROKKIT44 I mean, is there any reason not to ride?? Well, I don't think so... Great vid!!

  • @serangelc Ahhh. Nope there isn't. Haha

  • After years of YouTube, my 1st subscription. I will be following your work !

  • Well done my friend !

You totally inspired me today to ride 138kms x2 in the 'driving rain' instead of getting a lift from my buddy. I had the song (what is that song btw?) on repeat in my head thru out the whole trip.

    Keep it up !

  • @ujayyy The song came from the movie "The Motorcycle Diaries." A good movie too by the way. I'm glad I inspired you.

  • Thanks for the info !! Had the OST the whole time in my hard disk, but never listened to it since now I guess =)

  • I got to tsay the panning Helmet cam is an amazing idea, this is the first place ive seen it, One question,

is it weighted so you turn your head and it falls to the leaning side or is there a small motor on it? Im guessing its a trade secret =P

  • @XboxPhantom Good guess! Yes, I weighted it heavier towards the camera so I didn't need to touch it to get it moving. And no, I have no trade secrets here. I went to school with a guy that never shared with the class how he made certain things. At first he was ahead of the class, but soon he fell behind because he was not part of the collective mind share the rest of us were. Sharing how we do our videos will only make us better. In other words, I will be putting up a how to soon.

  • What a fantastic video blew me away
