"CLIMAX!" was a live anthology series (several of the later episodes were produced on film, and presented on videotape as well) which appeared on CBS' Thursday night schedule [8:30-9:30pm(et)] from 1954 through '58 {a Chrysler "SHOWER OF STARS" special pre-empted "CLIMAX!" once a month}. This episode originally aired on September 1, 1955. Art Gilmore is the announcer, and Chrysler's spokesman; Mary Costa eventually became William Lundigan's co-host in the fall of 1956.
