This film was pulled from General release by MGM in 1964, playing only ONE theater in U.S.A., where I saw it : On 42nd Street [ Anco ? Empire ?] The reviewers for the N.Y. Times and Variety had to catch it there; it received no trade showings. Head of MGM office New Haven, Leon Jakubson, told me the head office gave no reason but the fact that it got a "B" from the Legion Of Decency, "Morally objectionable for all" and MGM was still a few years away from bucking the LOD. RV's only B&W: EXCELLENT
Nobody will disagree with the evident talent of the composer Michel Magne ! He died to early but his work will remain until the disappearence of our planet..
interesting i have not heard this before, michel magne produced the music for emmanuelle 4, Carrere French record label
