  • Hey guys , I am looking to get working in the mines driving , I have lots of experience driving and working machines . I'll give a weeks wages to anyone who can help me get a job !!!!!!! no joke!

  • Do you get bored just driving a truck around all day? What sort of risks are there? Ever had any accidents?

  • What sort of pay are you on now? What type of threat do the driver-less trucks pose? What are the key attributes that a candidate should possess?

  • any advice for a young bloke 18 years of age getting into the industry

  • @leftylethborg Do an apprenticeship if you can land one, best choice I ever made

  • Is it hard landing one of these jobs? Im looking to do this once Im in Perth

  • Yes jasmine women work in the mining and construction industry and even in Sweden, the Aitik copper mine has women drivers, the Luzenac taalc mine in france has women operating Liebherr 996 excavators! But not many are employed in the UK, too much of a sexist, narrow minded country here! (I think its a threat to their masculinity!)

  • @judderman37 nah theyre just pish

  • BONE HEADS

  • @86EMDUB lmao yeah fking window lickers

  • How cute at our mine here in, we run 789 cat truck i think yours are smaller :D and jasmine yes women can work in the mining industry in fact here in canada they favor women for drivers because we are more cautious with the equipment then most men are !!

  • @marquismama I think the reason behind women drivers as preference is that the job is a no brainer. Hence the name bone heads for truckies...

  • @marquismama ha ha ha so do they make those 789's for men at the pit i'm we have 793's and eh 4500 hitachi with a 300 tonne pay load, lol just sayin

  • Maite, you blo0dy lucky!! You got the life...

  • Surprised you havent been pulled up yet for driving with a bloody video camera in your hand.

  • My other half has just started work up at Orebody 25. He is flying back home on Tues morning for his R+R. He drives the Dump Trucks there. Your video was very interesting. I am sure your nephew will enjoy it.

Yes you are so right, the money is great but the long hours you have to do + travelling out to the mine site.

    Keep up the good work.

  • I have been running 793B and D's for years and I have to say that is one cute boarding ladder you got there. Where I am it would not last a week. Keep up the truckin and keep it rubber side down.

  • Fuckin hell i just left bricklaying and i wanna do dump truck driving pleaseeeee!

  • maybe you know some possibility to get job there?

  • just our of courious can a woman work in the mining company??

  • Yes, in fact Caterpillar has a woman test out there giant 797b dump trucks for 12 continuous hours at the job site.

  • Absolutely. There are even sites where over 50% of the dump truck operators are women because they are not as hard on equipment. If you like temperatures that approach 50 degrees, then mining in the desert is for you.

  • yes we love female drivers, especially the slutty ones, I give them a ride all the time

  • @moneyman10k ...hey man.....i bet you get to take home a little STD bonus or 2 for your Wifey....or G/F......she wasn't expecting to catch...from some mine site Gin Jockey...LOL.....have fun explaining that one...lol

  • @ozziairlegger lol your very funny but spose its true in some cases

  • @ozziairlegger...... I gotta another name for Dump Truck steerer's.....Bone Heads.

  • @moneyman10k agreed, they are fucking around.

Only two types of female plant operators, those that love the cock, and those that are in denial.

  • @moneyman10k LOL

  • @jasmine732 They sure can I know a few ladies that have gone out and started driving these dump trucks for cash :) good luck! :)

  • Yes, there are females working on the mines operating these dump trucks.

  • @jasmine732 YES they can and do

  • @jasmine732 Not with that sort of atrocious spelling. Good communication is important for any job ;-)

  • u are very lcuky

  • Wow excellent video I'd LOVE to have a job like that. How'd you come across it? I'm a plant operator for a small family owned rural contracting company. Wow I'd love to drive something like that its HUGE!!!! Keep up the video's very interesting. Cheers!

  • this video is very interesting!

maybe you can give me some information about working facilities in australia?

i am a profesional driver. i'm driving about 20 years.

  • Google some information about WA mining australia. They generally want people with experience on 777's 785's (like these) etc.

I drive a earthmoving truck myself, and due to its size (only 40ton, not 300 like these), Im finding it farking hard to get in there....

They also want tradies. (but you can get in on luck.... but everyone else is trying too haha)

  • @CozmoNz Yes it is "HARD" getting into the mining industry, my other half started just over 5yrs ago driving these dump trucks, He has been doing FIFO for a while now but at 1st took a while to get in when he decide to change over to mining. The money is good but you do work longggg hours & earn the money you get. He trains up others now as well as still operating & driving them. there's a lot of mental work involved etc. Good Luck...:-)

  • hell yeah! how an u\g miner get a crack at driving those big boys

  • there is no accommodation here in newman.. unless u work for HWE Macmahons or better yet BHP... u got a trade??? this shit needs to be hooked up before u move lol..

  • gotta love the Newman footy ground.

Four beer swilling clubs on the fence, excellent.

  • that is not a dump truck

    it is a haul truck.

and judging by the size of the loads its probly barely over 200 tons... sounds big but actually pretty damn small in the mining world

  • 240 tons actually. My Dad used to work in one of those trucks.

  • Those are 785c's payload is 150 (Us tons). I operate the same trucks in a copper mine in AZ

  • look mate im sorry but i think its 235 to 238 tonnes... dumbass

  • Yeah, around 300tons payload...

  • 785's are 150 tons...793's are around 300

  • I drive Cat 793D at Mount Keith WA and our normal pay loads are 225 tonne

  • I just know they're big. The 785's are nice, but are only 150 tons.

  • well my dad works in one of thoese trucks to, and he told me its infinity tons

  • i am 17 but how old do you have to be to get into the mines?

How do you get a dump truck licence?

  • you dont get a dump truck license you have to get inductions which you pay for then try and know some1 in the mines who can help you get in because unfortunately if you dont know anyone and you dont have any experience its as close to impossible to get in and you need to be atleast 18
