vice city is bad, you can't control the view while you're riding a vehcle. while u can control the view of the vehicle by mouse in san andreas.

I really hate people who think that the only good GTA games are SA and IV. Both of which are nothing compared to Vice City, they both have dirty environments, that I couldn't get used to, wheras Vice City was bright, vibrant and set in an era of big music and big hair. Maybe its just the fact that Vice City had such an Impact on me. and Honestly, has any SA fanboys even PLAYED THE FULL STORY? It felt very boring, and If you didnt like the gang life, it felt like it dragged on.
GTA san andreas had the best gameplay and improvements from GTA vice city but to me, vice city had a better setting and atmosphere to it. I've played both games. San andreas is still my favourite of the two games but i'll never ever forget vice city because it's the only thing that ever brought that close to the 80's. And i'm 16 by the way. I played it when i was 10 i think. Good times on playing those games.
San Andreas all the way better story, better characters, way better map, loads of more features, I could go on for a while my point is that in my opinion San Andreas is the muthafuckin bomb to me and the only thing that I think will be able to change that is Grand Theft Auto V

I liked VC more because of the 80's style, the music was awesome. I used to play for HOURS doing the cab sidemissions, so much that I used to go around the radiostations one at a time, and only stopped cuz I had nothing else to hear on the radio cuz I had already heard them all.
Besides I think that VC has a better job in textures than SA, something that everybody seems to forget.
Well I Got to go with both. Why? Because First of all, both of them were created by the same publisher. Next off, I know GTA Sa has a bigger map, but it doesn't matter. it matters about how you like it. San Andreas Has pretty good items and weapons. Like the jet pack and the plane. on the other hand, vice city has pretty good weapons, the map is short but its a good game. Plus, On vice city, you can't swim. On Gta you can, so I got to go with san Andreas. Don't get pissed.

Vice city is better than san andreas for ambience, storyline, music and missions. San andreas lacks them, but gives more gameplay and possibilities. I prefer vice city because I dont really like the games which lack music and dont have good storyline :S

I've never played Vice City, but from what I've seen, I can already tell San Andreas is 10 times better, Vice City has good music though, but San Andreas does too, but San Andreas is also bigger, I think CJ is a better Protagonist too, he actually has morals and shit after he kills people or does shit, theres also a shitload more to do and the locations and stuff in the game, its just plain beautiful, the myths too and the cars and weapons are a lot better, definitely one of my favorite games :D

DAMN!! I think details on the cars in vice city are cooler looking. I love doing Jackass stunts on Gta4 because SanAndreas you can't jump out of your car or roll. Gta4 is way fucking more realistic than SanAndreas lol. SanAdreas you can run as fast as a 100 mph car going by lol.

I'd have to say San Andreas wins for me, but only by a slither. I love the feel to Vice City and how the game is so so wonderfully stylish, but San Andreas also has a wonderful fresh style to it. San Andreas also has more characters, and more mission arcs, which were all slightly better and more fun. Can't forget the variety of different environments to explore in San Andreas too.
San Andreas is better in my opinion, such a shame it's not on PS3. I liked Vicy City but it seems too me a bit overated, I don't know why but I got bored playing Vice City a few times, but San Andreas had so much too do it kept me entertained for months. The map size was breathtaking, San Andreas and GTA3 were my favourites.
San Andreas great game, This is an open world sandbox done right, and with some of the best mods and content, Large map and endless possibilities.
But I have to say I prefer Vice City, its just has something great in it that I cant explain, and I really hope the next GTA game is made in Vice City but I wont complain one bit if the revisited San Andreas, tho it might bring a tear to my eye if I don't see Vice City again XD

Vice city was the best imo. of course san andreas had morre stuff to do and was bigger, because its the next installment in the series so rockstar is always going to push the game to be bigger and have more content. Vice City? Best soundtrack and great feeling of cruising down Ocean Drive. San Andreas? Character customization(clothes, tattoo, haircuts, body mass) car mods, burglary, gambling, base jumping, pimping....three cities+rural area and desert. San Andreas wins with it's SIZE and possibilities. In my opinion Los Santos alone beats Vice City. Too bad soundtrack of San Andreas isn't that good as in previous GTA games.

@DJShOnEz what are you talking about?!!? san andreas was like in 2005, everyone played and beat that shit..i did all the missions and yes i think vice city is better. i'm a huge fan of the 80's and the music alone cannot be touched by san andreas. and besides, vice city having a smaller map isn't a bad thing, it makes it easier to navigate the city without eye raping your map.

San Andreas is the best one EVER!!! The cheats on Vice suck ass!!! There is a much bigger variety on this one, the radio stations are better and the graphics. Plus CJ would beat the hell out of Vercetti.

I've never played Vice City, but from what I've seen, I can already tell San Andreas is 10 times better, Vice City has good music though, but San Andreas does too, but San Andreas is also bigger, I think CJ is a better Protagonist too, he actually has morals and shit after he kills people or does shit, theres also a shitload more to do and the locations and stuff in the game, its just plain beautiful, the myths too and the cars and weapons are a lot better, definitely one of my favorite games :D

DAMN!! I think details on the cars in vice city are cooler looking. I love doing Jackass stunts on Gta4 because SanAndreas you can't jump out of your car or roll. Gta4 is way fucking more realistic than SanAndreas lol. SanAdreas you can run as fast as a 100 mph car going by lol.

Vice city is the best. SanAndreas sucks. I liked vice city story line and gta4s story line better than SanAndreas. Vice city has cooler cars than Sanadreas and SanAndreas kinda borezzzz me to death. Everybody loves SanAndreas because the cheat codes??? I don't give two shit about cheat codes. Using cheat codes to beat the game is for pussies. Vice city is number one and gta4 will be number 1 :) Gta5 will be in vice city again.

I'd have to say San Andreas wins for me, but only by a slither. I love the feel to Vice City and how the game is so so wonderfully stylish, but San Andreas also has a wonderful fresh style to it. San Andreas also has more characters, and more mission arcs, which were all slightly better and more fun. Can't forget the variety of different environments to explore in San Andreas too.

San Andreas is better in my opinion, such a shame it's not on PS3. I liked Vicy City but it seems too me a bit overated, I don't know why but I got bored playing Vice City a few times, but San Andreas had so much too do it kept me entertained for months. The map size was breathtaking, San Andreas and GTA3 were my favourites.

San Andreas great game, This is an open world sandbox done right, and with some of the best mods and content, Large map and endless possibilities.
But I have to say I prefer Vice City, its just has something great in it that I cant explain, and I really hope the next GTA game is made in Vice City but I wont complain one bit if the revisited San Andreas, tho it might bring a tear to my eye if I don't see Vice City again XD

Vice city was the best imo. of course san andreas had morre stuff to do and was bigger, because its the next installment in the series so rockstar is always going to push the game to be bigger and have more content. If they remade Vice city with ps3 or 360 graphics, it would be the number one gta game in the history of the franchise imo. besides everyones soo obsessed with La and NY, these 2 cities get old quickly.

Vice City? Best soundtrack and great feeling of cruising down Ocean Drive. San Andreas? Character customization(clothes, tattoo, haircuts, body mass) car mods, burglary, gambling, base jumping, pimping....three cities+rural area and desert. San Andreas wins with it's SIZE and possibilities. In my opinion Los Santos alone beats Vice City. Too bad soundtrack of San Andreas isn't that good as in previous GTA games.
