  • Does it have to rotate to print, or could it print left to tight rather than circular? Very nice machine and design!

  • @joetylerdale Thanks for the comments. This machine is designed to print only as the nickel is rotated, but the same print head could be used with a machine that is designed to move right and left.

    Very nice use of a couple microcontrollers.

    I'm working on a BS2 controlled "marble machine" myself which explores many of the same fundamentals.

  • Where did the coin chute part come from with the rotating cover?

  • That was custom made from plastic. The rotating part is a plastic disk mounted to an RC servo to move it.
