@southbayla24 ...i guess thats true lol but how about the nets having unbiased commentators (mark jackson-seemed unbiased, ian eagle, marv albert) even b4 they made two str8 finals appearances and were known as the beasts of the east till 2010 when i stopped watchin em after vc left aha...every city besides has very biased commentatorz include mine being toronto lol
devin can't beat vince in the ballot! vc is the 3rd leading vote getters for the guards in east! he's just trailing wade and iverson, respectively... i remember those 4 straight all stats where vince led the voting overall. He tied the record of Erving and Magic
I was was at that game yester day, and that dunk was more impressive in live in person. This man is still amazing and he is now a great leader who has matured over the years. Hopefully the Nets go far. I want VC to win a ring before he retires
wow, Vince sure has lost a step...he had a runnin start from the 3pt line and barely took off. starting to show his age...he's lucky he's long as f**k
First of all it was late in the 4th, he was probably a little worn out by then. Secondly, Vince is more of a 2 foot dunker and 3rd, it looks like he got pretty high to me...one of the best dunks i've seen from him this season.
Vince now is a 11 year veteran, its not necessarily the lack of hops or fatigue..its more wisdom, you learn that you dont have to jump through the roof to get two points, he still has alot of hops left..u can tell from the reverse alley oop versus toronto..and that was off a bad jump..he didnt get his footing right and made that easily...so i think hes just smarter..higher u jump..harder u land...and with his injuries hes being conservative
I saw a missed dunk by Vince last year on Okafor, where he almost made it while taking of on two feet from like 10 feet away. When I saw him in London he got up high for a couple of boards and a dunk as well. He may not have the LeBron hops anymore, but he can still elevate when he has to and when he wants to. I don't think he wants to play show time basketball anymore though
Wow, people so quick to get offended. Just stating a fact; he's loooong, therefore he doesn't have to jump that high, however that didn't stop him before. I realize he's older, being a Toronto native I had the privilege of watching him in his heyday. Just stating that he's lost a step and that dunk shows it. If you're claiming you can't tell how high he got b/c of the angle, how can you discern where his hand is in relation to the box? Just look at where his head is in relation to the glass.
oh god that "oh me oh my" guy again even in 2008

you cant tell from that angle how high he actually got, his hand had the ball at the top of the square on the backboard
