It's corny but that's the point of the movie. Because I knew it was a satire of fairy tales, I was able to enjoy it more, especially with its jokes like Giselle summoning animals with her singing, except it's vermins in New York.

that's one of my favorite scenes too...when she summons the animals in NY...I even tried singing that hahahaha with the composer Alan Menken...you should try to watch it...it's on youtube somewhere...but beware...my singing voice is not quite Giselle :)
