The Oblivion game engine seems to be far better for 3d building walk-thrus than the professional architectural programs such as autocad, sketchup or revit. This game engine allows the viewer much more realistic interaction such as looking up, looking to the side, walking or running.
Does anyone else have an opinion on the best walk-thru programs for virtual architecture? Imagine architects plopping their designs into Oblivion for their clients to do their own walk-thrus. Thanks for the demo.
good attempt, the stairs look a bit flatter than real life, and you dont have the naked statutes on the big stoop thing, other than that, i would think that its the real deal from a screen shot.
Its University College London's Quad - it was made in Sketchup from photogrpahs and then imported via 3DMax - as tutorial is online providing a complete walkthrough of the process.
