Why don't you paint the interior of your melter flat black? Thank you for sharing... nice tip about the plastic containers being good so you can twist to release the was when all is done. Can you place an entire frame inside and allow the wax to drip away from it so you can start new?

I notice in your second SWM that you don't seem to use a screen to siphon out the dirt or other non-wax material from the comb. Can you explain why? Thanks for a good video!

U R THE BEST INFO PERSON IVE SEEN.IM A NEWBEE.GOT 2 BOXES OF ITALIANS,ONE FOR LANG ONE FOR TBH,THB LEFT AFTER BUILDING COMB.HAVE CAUGHT 2 SWARMS ,BOTH LEFT .IVE GOT 6 HIVES,DID AN EXTRACTIN 7-2-11 .WE GOT 20 COMBS ,HONEY AND BROOD,PUT THEM IN FRAMES AND MADE 3 HIVES ,ONE BEEING TBH,AND HAVE BUILT A SWARM TRAP PER UR VIDEO,SOLAR MELTER NEXT . PROCESS ED HONEY SAVED SOME COMB , AND WILL JAR HONEY FOR HEALTH ISSUES WITH ALLERGYS HAVE A HEALTH STORE WANTING LOCAL HONEY !!THANX MCARTNEY

I'm getting better on that, i use a tripod now.

Nicely done. If you do transition to a metal sheet, don't use galvanized steel because any remaining honey will cause it to acidify and turn black and this will discolor your wax.
