First of all, you're still thinking of time as linear. Hell just IS. It won't make any difference whether it's 10 minutes or 10 million years.
Second, the people of God in heaven will understand that God is JUST and that people made their decisions. The Lord God Almighty will have shown mercy on all those upon whom He could show mercy.

WE aren't going to bring Him back. That makes God limited by our WORKS. HE has a plan and a timeline and we are simply to obey. YES, we need to be ready - individually and collectively. No prayer results in salvation unless the person has put their faith in Christ alone for their justification. Its about trusting in Christ. I will say this everyday my faith grows and grows in Jesus. I did not grow up in a Christian and church family, I have only been going at this for going on 3 years now, but I will continue to praise, worship and thnak the Lord for what he has been and done for me in my life.
