How dare you dishonour Serial Experiments Lain with this '1995 pop not being pop because goths listen it' music. The Weird Wired AMV captures the atmosphære of Lain so much better. I shall now proceed to rape my sister for liking this crap, it hurts me more than her, I mean it.

I can't tell if you are joking or not, but this series actually fits the basic idea of Lain very well. It follows the same lines of loosing one's self to technology. Maybe you should stop being an ass and give it a listen.

The story in the MIAB albums aren't about losing one's self to technology, but about someone who uploads their consciousness into a computer willingly. (And the whole story about Mr. Black and Mr. White.)

I know what the story is about, but at the time I wrote the comic, I had just been introduced to MiaB. I know what the canon story is for MiaB, but I think it can also be interpreted many ways.
