She sleeps on the floor (this may be a Korean "way") in her mother's house? Why is she not living on her own and oiling her own feet? Why can't SHE explain how her fingers work?
Why she still live with her mom? You have to understand Asian culture including Korean one. Most of people in Korea live with their parents before their marriage. Do Not judge that with your north american culture. Which one is better? Each has good points. Without understanding of the culture, you are always wrong what you think. Don't judge other culture with your American culture.
I would hope that by now a major piano company has seen to it that she has a good piano and that a piano tuner comes to her house on a regular basis. As a pianist myself, I can appreciate the difficulty of playing at the best of times with all 10 digits, but to do it with just 4 out of 10 digits, it's just ridiculously miraculous and she's only 20 bloody years old. Explain something to me. How does she play the chords or whatever it's called that need more than TWO fingers on one hand? Ie, when you press three keys or more?
George, it's called chords, but if you listen carefully, she is playing arpeggios, not chords - that means she is pressing the keys one after the other, not at the same time. She goes so fast though! It sounds like they are together at the same time. THAT's how! :)

Explain something to me. How does she play the chords or whatever it's called that need more than TWO fingers on one hand? Ie, when you press three keys or more?

George, it's called chords, but if you listen carefully, she is playing arpeggios, not chords - that means she is pressing the keys one after the other, not at the same time. She goes so fast though! It sounds like they are together at the same time. THAT's how! :)
