Here in Germany there was once a very similar attraction in Phantasialand 1001. This attraction was the first stationary dark ride in Germany. The attraction was 39 years old. On 02.11.2009 was last ride with visitors from demolition. Meanwhile, it was completely demolished and a new attraction is created there. I miss 1001 so much! It was the oldest attraction in the park!

@Universalfreak22 Space Mountain broke down once, or something happened, we went from 55mph to 0 within about 10 feet... Not fun.

All rides breakdown...Most of the time its the sensers and the computars not agreeing, so the computars shut down the ride if they misread, even the slightest thing...Its all for safety

the peter pan ride broke down when i went on it back in '95. i was a young kid and freaking out that we were stuck in the air. i think somebody dropped an umbrella which hit something. i think we were stuck in the air for like at least 10 minutes.

man thats terrible for it to breakdown towards the beginning...especially if u wait a long time for that ride. its the most popular ride in fantasyland!! but at the same time it would b interesting to see how it works and what everything looks like in the light :D

I have only been to Disney World (8 times; we go every year) but I personally think Peter Pan needs refurbishing. At least more paint with more colors, so they stand out better in the black light :)
