  • Awwww man I 'bout flipped when they transitioned into "Big Noise From Winetka" during the breakdown in the middle. Incredible!

  • Ok koolz, still would like a copy though..this song is really nice.

  • @PTME2009 Thank you very much - glad you like it! The transition was produced by Chris Millington and he wrote the arrangement of Big Noise. It's currently not for sale though :(

  • real nice i Love this song but plz tell me where can iget this sheet music for my band to play.

  • @PTME2009

it's not a stock chart...Chris had part of it commissioned and he also arranged part of it for his band

  • Amazing....

  • Lou was a mentor for me when I first got to the RCA Band in '81 and then became my good friend and roommate on our many band trips all over the world... His wife Maggie was a darling and I also agree that he was filled with that "Je ne sais quoi" that made Lou the drummer and percussionnist that he was... A great musician that willed be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure and oportunity or either playing music with him or knowing him.... Love going to his house along with Bill Gobby Luv u

  • lou was the best teacher ever, it was lucky to hav him.

  • Never heard of Mr Williamson before today, much to my chagrin. He was obviously extremely talented, and fun loving with a joy for music. I hope that many drummers got to learn from him in his life.

To heck with Resting In Peace! I hope he is wowing them all with his music, making as much noise as he can wherever he is.

  • Great vid, thanks for posting! RIP Lou.

  • Lou, you were a wonderful drummer, teacher, and inspiration. I will never forget your amazing, floor-rattling solos I could hear walking down the hall! Rest in peace!

  • There will be a celebration of Lou Williamson's amazing life in January.

    Stay tuned for details

  • Cooool, it swings!!!

  • By-the-way:

Bbxandtram is Andrew Homzy - who missed Lou from the time he left Montréal!

  • I met Lou in Montréal in the early 1970s. He played in my bands and we both played for Vic Vogel - "Cruel Shoes"!

Lou was filled with energy - and coffee and humor!

    Long live Lou Wiliamson -

  • The Big Band just won't be the same without you back there in the kitchen, my friend. Looking forward to singin' and swingin' with you in the next phase!

  • I was Inspired with the musical talent and caliber Lou has expressed, tireless effort towards the drums and all percussion instruments. It's that extra kick or tap that makes you look saying "That was Awesome!" Lou was a true Conductor, Mentor, and Friend. He will be greatly missed and remembered. I'm glad I had the opportunity to learn and be inspired by this great man. I send my prayers and support to his family during this time of loss.

  • Lou, I miss you already. In the thirty years I knew you I never saw you less than sunny, and finding the fun in life with your wonderful wit. Thank you!

  • Never thought I like Big Band sound ,but ......Thanks for posting

  • There are some drummers that are technical, artistic, and theatrical... Lou was all of them rolled into one. We lost a great musician today... Someone who always took the time to give great advice, and always share a smile or a great story... It was a pleasure to work with you Lou and thank you for enriching my life with your talent and friendship... RIP...

  • we lost a giant today

    a great human being

    a great musician

    a great friend
